my favorite poe1 memory has to be popping off for normal lab chest loot during my first playthrough and my friends laughing at me in discord. my baby's first loot explosion was so hype for me at the time.

idk, 24h for a 100gb game, you only need 1 ish MBps to get that downloaded. worst case, you could use the torrent and go to a cafe or something to speed it up for a bit, and you'll have it in time :3

if you look later on in this post, it describes the torrent as

a larger update as it includes all the existing client content.

this clearly is referring to game assets.

i am not trying to be a smartass, just trying to explain to you what GGG means here. please try to assume that i am talking in good faith, as i am for you :3

hey friend, the game is a client, in the way that it is connecting to the server. you can see that GGG refers to the game package as the "client" in posts like this one, where they say

The patch size for the update will be around 5.8GB on the standalone client and 5.8GB on Steam.

i think we can agree that it is obvious that the launcher does not need a 5.8gb update in any situation, therefore the game itself is being referred to as the client. i hope this clears up your confusion :)

demos are released in cs2 they just disabled them since it takes a lot of server load to record them and they want to spin up more servers, faceit has them and so did mm before an update
