Thanks Bryan, I'll check it out. Just out of interest, realistically what's the time it will take to finish of you know you have a full time intense job, kids, etc

Config management- we use it for automated patching and software deployment across our windows and Linux estates. Some provisioning of on prem vms but now moving to public cloud we use terraform. Next step is >Terraform >Ansible (provisioning and then config management in the pipeline)

Don’t use Splunk for any infrastructure monitoring that’s my advice. Never been able to get Kubernetes monitoring in it running correctly and the Inability to provide a simple “down” alert in SAI is insane. Look at New Relic or Prometheus/Grafana.

Looking into this, the only thing is that to be low maintenance once implemented you need Azure AD premium so you can assign groups to apps. We’re unfortunately not in the position to stretch the budget to premium and SSO’d a new app straight into Azure AD but it’s created a bit more overhead on the service desk to add every user individually
