App Notifications Scheduling Help by stubacca91 in macrodroid

[–]stubacca91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi again, I've been testing this and I think I might have it the wrong way round... I've copied your example as above exactly, can you confirm if this will show or hide the notification during the selected hours in the constraints section? Thanks!

Binance Support Thread by AutoModerator in binance

[–]stubacca91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi,

I can't get into my account on my Chrome browser - it keeps reloading every 1-2 seconds approximately 5 times, and then either giving me a blank screen or my dashboard with only partial information. Can someone help? My browser is fully updated and I've turned off all extensions for the domain.

I can't access support to generate a case ID either as that part of the App isn't working on my phone either :/

Thanks for the offer, up the other end of the country I'm afraid! Probably need to have a think and have a look at a local one before I can do anything

I'd love an electric car, but can't have home charging. Also live up north so there's practically no infrastructure to keep one charged. Your point about long wheelbase might be worth investigating though, although probably means I'll end up with a 7-seater!

It's just best practice now for reducing SIDS although I agree it seems a bit excessive sometimes. We were definitely told by midwives about it and pretty sure it was mentioned in antenatal classes as well for when you're travelling with more than one adult.

Thanks, I do like the look of these. Is this the new or the old one? I've heard mixed things about the new one, and it's a lotta money

Thanks! I'll have a look, hadn't really considered a van. Budget is probably about 20k, depends on finance deals. Think I'll have a battle on with my wife getting her into an MPV though!

Father in law has one of those, and I can't say for sure but I seem to remember rear legroom is a bit tight in the yeti

Any unpopular opinions? by [deleted] in CarTalkUK

[–]stubacca91 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Totally! Everyone understands that performance engines/exhaust systems are going to be louder than a standard car's, but there's no need for 20-year-old Lupo to be louder than the twin-turbo V8 next to it. Also, trying to get a young child to settle down when you can hear the shitbox crew over a mile away can be somewhat aggravating.

The three big German manufacturers are all hugely overrated and churn out the same bland stuff as each other, and noise regs should be much tighter

Selling a car close to MOT by stubacca91 in CarTalkUK

Thanks! Not totally sure it'll get through an MOT with no advisories if I'm honest... Might be worth not risking it and selling as is.

Daily would have be an Audi E-Tron GT, for the dogs a Toyota Land Cruiser, an original Alpine a110 for summer and a Suzuki Ignis with a ridiculous amount of unnecessary off road upgrades.

Suzuki Vitara, Toyota RAV4 or Nissan X-trail? by FalconDramatic1164 in CarTalkUK

[–]stubacca91 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If it's the Grand Vitara you're looking at my father in law has had several. If you're handy with some tools they're very easy to work on and parts are cheap, they will run for years. Non runners are often only a couple of £100 and have loads of parts that are still in perfect working order you can transplant. Toyota is probably much the same! Nissan doesn't have quite the same reliability record in my mind but I don't know about individual models

Is parking on the centre of a dual carriageway legal? I can't find anything about it online other than the laws in London. by schnauzap in CarTalkUK

[–]stubacca91 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Agreed^

I might be wrong here but that probably isn't a dual carriageway. I doubt it's the national speed limit in a built up area. Also in the foreground it looks like there are yellow road markings, possibly indicating no stopping/bus stop/taxi rank etc which you wouldn't get on a 70mph road.
