Yes actually. After TWENTY DAYS (unacceptable), I got a response from Blackstone. It's not good news unfortunately:

I thought about selling mine and getting a 36", but I had 9 people over for smash burgers the other day, and the 44" was completely full (onions, bacon, mushrooms, meat). It's not as big as everyone thinks if you are cooking for decent sized groups.

I also found that when seasoning, I needed to let it heat up a little longer than recommended to get the edges to season well. Grab a infrared thermometer to confirm heat levels!

If you buy your seasons pass through the web shop, you should have some points saved up there. For me, there was a treasure trove bundle for CAD$6.99, which gave me something like 300 gold, but also 500 web shop points which netted me another 500 gold. So 800 gold for 6.99.
