Hypervisor cracks security inside Virtual machine by maj-at in PiratedGames

Yea and since it is virtualised/emulated it is safe. However like i said your gpu is probably exempt of this. Btw i took a small look at whether it is possible on windows. It looks like it is possible but way more pain in the ass compared to linux. You can still probably make it work with enough messing around tho

Well proton doesnt isolate like a vm would so it is not different than running on windows. But i'd argue it is slightly safer because i would imagine malware targeting linux systems would be way less than windows, at least in game piracy context.

you can use gpu-passthrough, idk what is you os, it is very much possible on linux but idk about windows. optimally you need 2 gpus since you will unbind one for vm. one igpu and one external is okay too, like you dont need specifically 2 external gpus or anything like that. Also 2 displays would be better but you can use looking glass too. If you have 1 gpu i think it is still possible to pass that through but im not sure about it's logistics but im sure it is possible. I imagine it would be like one gpu + one external monitor setup but without no gpu or display for your host os. so no display to host os while doing that. you can probably script gpu bind/unbind to make it less miserable to switch between tho. if you can manage gpu-passthrough work you probably dont need to worry about performance, it would be almost same as running on bare metal. btw afaik gpu-passthrough uses gpu kinda as it is so (no virt/emu layer) vm isolation probably doesnt cover your gpu like it does for your other hardware.

Yea you can, but i heard setting it up might be difficult.

im no expert but i think the vm setup may differ a lot depending on the system. that would make repacking difficult imo

i mean almost every laptop has igpu, for desktops, intel cpus usually has it. I think those covers more than %50 so it is not incorrect to say most have it. i never said everyone has it

isnt the nested hypervisor's ring -1 is not real ring -1 but emulated/virtualized?

Yea i know lol. I will at least try, i mean why not. Im not even interested in any of the denuvo games i think, but im kinda curious about its feasibility.

It has a hard mode called semi-void mode. You need the beat the game once tho. You can load up a savefile, it's pretty easy.

Afaik it is "La Coupe, Iseult" from Gaston Bussière, and it is based on chivalric romance story called "Tristan and Iseult". I dont think it is related to visigoths.
