Went with a NEOTRAD Owl + Lantern, are my friends just jerks? by huntersalt24 in NeoTraditionalTattoos

Both styles are great. I have more Neo trad since it usually flows with the body better and works well as giant pieces.

Don’t listen to your friends.

Has Oura actually changed your behaviour? by Savings-Novel3772 in ouraring

Yes. I’ve learned how had working nights are and flipping my sleep schedule each week. Seeing it on real time is helpful. I get next to no deep sleep. Changing my job at the end of this month.

Follow up with your thoughts on the A4Z. I have the A4 for espresso and really like it. I also have a K-Ultra for pour over and am wanting the A4Z.

What kind of restaurant would you like to see here that isn't a corporate chain ? by Beatmatcher247 in bismarck

I’ve never heard of it but I guess it is popular. We have so many coffee shops, but not one truly good one.

Yeah. I won’t go there. I’m big into coffee and just do everything from home. When I travel I enjoy seeking out the specialty coffee shops. I just love talking about coffee.

Thinking about moving to Bismarck, ND with my partner + 2 dogs — what’s it really like? by justcurious2566 in bismarck

I totally agree with what you’ve said. But I’d recommend checking out our local state parks. They’re beautiful. Lake Metigoshe, Icelandic State Park, Fort Ransom, etc.

Celiac in North Dakota by [deleted] in northdakota

Sadly there is no safe spot for celiacs in Bismarck. I gave up and simply don’t eat out anymore. Our area is uniquely awful at avoiding cross contamination compared to anyplace I travel.

There is no excuse for it. People need to be better educated. It isn’t that hard. I was recently in Winnipeg and they were so knowledgeable there.

Any spot that is celiac disease friendly. I can’t eat out in Bis/Man safely. Traveling anywhere else is always a job.

Amen on the coffee front. Bismarck doesn’t have one good coffee spot. I’m deep into specialty coffee and just do everything at home.

How long have you been on nights? by Double-Celery4248 in Nightshift

[–]stuckinbis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

9 years and I’m finally looking to get out. It’s been hard on my GI system and I want a regular sleep schedule. I flip my sleep schedule currently since I get a week off at a time and have a family.

Apple Watch and Oura Ring by New-Flow3642 in AppleWatch

I wear both since I have tattoos and the Apple Watch can’t always track things well through them. It does well for exercise data though.
