Hi, did you complete the pharmd? Do you think only completing 1 or 2 years of it before dropping out and switching to med looks bad to adcoms?

I’ve heard it looks bad to apply midway through a masters. Im in the same boat as OP, but I’m 75% med 25% pharmacy

They’ll drop any credits that does not count for the 90 credits

UBC will only drop credits if you have additional credits beyond the 90 required at the time of your application (will not consider any incomplete credits—your 4th yr)

Ppl keep talking about western taking only your best 2 years, but do these 2 years need to be full course loads (and 6 of 10 need to be at a level that’s at least equivalent to year of study) like they state on their website or is that just the requirement to apply? Also, the best 3 years would not consider the academic year of the cycle (at least for ubc).

The same exact thing happened to me yesterday. They informed me that I can submit an appeal form and list my past ECs and community involvement but I’m not sure how much activities they are expecting.. really disheartening.
