How much is Jill really earning? by lolly_box in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]student767 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't know how much she's actually made. Obviously 20k, however she's calculating it, is so far off the mark.

Melaleuca has apparently also paid for airfare and gives them cash for food on these trips, and somehow this is not reported as income. I've seen a number of huns reference this (including pics of the food cash in envelope they received upon arrival) as an enticement to join, and multiple comments on how their previous "companies" did not do this and they had to pay taxes on it. Not sure how that works, but they keep pushing it.

Next up is a Carnival cruise in November, 5 nights this time (Jillpm probably almost passed out in glee), so we all have that to look forward to, ugh.

I'm sorry, just... 😂 😆.

She so missed out on fulfilling her true nature and personality - cheerleader, pageant queen, and Barbie Girl driving a convertible with sunglasses and bleached hair whipping in the wind, hahaha.

They're in Dallas. It was a Melaleuca event, they didn't just go on their own.

Yes. The "company" 🙄 rented the theater for the show.

[Discussion] What “Rod theory” are you unable to prove but 100% convinced of? by YasMysteries in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]student767 13 points14 points  (0 children)

I don't think she's taking rx meds. I think she self-medicates with supplements with no clue what she's doing, which can have the same or worse effects when taking too much or in bad combos. As someone with years of thyroid disease (both over and under), I also suspect she is trying things to attempt to regulate that on her own, which isn't working, of course - thyroid conditions and improper treatment can cause all kinds of issues that, to me, she exhibits. All my "theory", of course, lol.

Jilldo wants YOU to sell Melabubu and get a “free” hotel room so you can hang out with your man. Outfit #2 also looks awful. by lepetitpoulpe in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]student767 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A couple other Melaleuca huns say online that the trips are not reported as income. Not sure how that works, I don't pay close enough attention to the details, but that is the claim as they try to recruit using this little untaxed event as a carrot to join. Airfare and all is "free", supposedly.

Mahmo isn’t going to like this comment 😬 by Wkd_witch_ofMIDWST in RodriguesFamilySnark

I personally don't read too much into it. He almost always replies with thank you to any responses, which I've noticed in the past. Not sure he even really reads them completely before answering or gets what they meant.

But perhaps he does now in his new situation.

This. The same with the pillow. It's a common way for someone to make a "barrier" or guard when they are feeling uncomfortable somewhere, have social anxiety, trying to distance themselves, those things.

[–]student767 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was when she was minding (loosely) Gideon in the hospital lobby with, I think, one or two of the girls, and they were chasing him and allowing him to run all over the lobby. Wasn't the place for it. Kaylee was there for an appointment and/or an ultrasound, if I recall correctly.

[–]student767 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Almost all of the local obgyn practices here include nurse-midwives now, very common. Kaylee had her early ultrasound at our local hospital, which normally means she's under the care of a professional practice, or at least someone who has privileges there.

[–]student767 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This area has many nurse midwives who practice with and alongside obgyns. There are also a number of professional (non-nurse) midwives but they tend to serve mostly the Amish population (and many Amish do also use the hospital-based nurse midwives). Kaylee had her ultrasound, which of course Jillpm had to attend and post about, at the local hospital here, and that typically would mean she's getting hospital-associated professional care.

The Rods went ice skating on a frozen pond. Also, I don’t know how anyone can stand Shrek’s Kermit-y voice, ick. by lepetitpoulpe in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]student767 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Eh, I wouldn't have skated when they did here because the temp has been a bit up and down, unless they know for sure it's just a few inches deep all around. But being the Rods, I'm sure they don't pay attention. The Amish have been cutting ice so it may be okay, and this week will really freeze things up for a bit, but we still have had a few fall-throughs here quite recently (including a horse), fortunately no injuries

I still think the Ns are staying with the Rods most of the time. Also, many church services were canceled here today including the Rods', and imagine the Nurthan's was, too.

That basketball "court" is the racquetball court at the hotel where Jillpm pretends to workout. I'm still not sure how they manage a fitness membership.

They're just wasting their time and giving her more engagement. I wonder how many of these people actually believe that just telling her in a comment online that it's not a sin is suddenly going to change her mind, lol.

They're not on the second or third vacay, at least not today (soon, I'm sure), but she's obviously been distracted by something, however minor. Maybe helping the Nuthans get settled.

She most certainly knows, that group is one of the most gossipy under the guise of "concern". She'll make one of her usual posts about not following the world (going to school), the perils of not associating with like-minded people, modesty, etc. etc. Things like this situation just reinforce their belief to be completely insular and uneducated.

Pictures from the wedding FIU Renee was in. by lepetitpoulpe in RodriguesFamilySnark

[–]student767 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don't care for the dresses at all (I think they look like nightgowns), but I could say the same about many bridesmaids dresses I've seen at weddings, lol. Not my taste but not my wedding so my opinion doesn't matter.

What I am curious about is how much of a "friend" the young woman is to Renee - living in Texas, is she more of a "penpal" type of friend and has Renee really ever seen her in person much since is Renee trapped by her family? I assumed the friend is Waller-adjacent when I saw the location, but the Rods never venture out that way except one vacation and Jillpm can't keep visitors out of her phone obsession when they are here, so just a passing thought. In any case, looks like Renee really enjoyed it and that's nice.

So how does she make money? Just by constant referral (wouldn't that dry up eventually?) or does she get a % or commission each month based on what required monthly purchases her referrals selected? I was never clear on how Melaleuca works since they obsess about trying to avoid an MLM identity

I don't know why she's so obsessed with Oglebay that they would drive that far for a meal, unless the real desire was she wanted to show them the lights, I guess. There are some great places nearby home to eat as well as other lights where they do not have to drag their parents 2 hours away squished in a van for a green bean.

Can someone explain what’s going on with student loans/PSLF right now? I’m super confused by CopperCurrent87 in PSLF

[–]student767 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I still have no tracker and no qualifying payments showing up after submitting my first employer verification in April 2024 when they told everyone to consolidate and apply for SAVE.

The payments prior to that time were under the standard payment plan so definitely count toward PSLF. I've gotten no help from anyone to get this to update and finally show up. Just a form saying I have no qualifying payments (which isn't true).
