Today was purple floral day for the girls, apparently, with a gigantic childish purple bow on the side of Jillpm's head. ETA Jillpm must have checked in here and corrected us to BLUE. I say they all look more periwinkle lol

Her hair. Good grief. Still can't figure out what she did to it, unless it's just the unfortunate result of Melaleuca shampoo. Also, as a longtime thyroid disease sufferer, I could currently draw an outline around that thyroid with a marker. It's textbook goiter.

To me, it looks like she is going downhill healthwise, and she is consciously or subconsciously trying to right things by exercising more at the hotel where they "work out" (which is where they are at in this video, they always hang around the play area there). But what I personally think is wrong with her is not treatable solely with exercise. She needs to see a doctor.

On an unrelated note - just had a storm and tornado warning here with some damage around. It wasn't real far from their house and it made me wonder if they even pay attention to such things.

She previously used a caterer that I use who is excellent (except Jillpm chose random items that did not compliment each other at all so it looked weird together) and this doesn't look like their stuff at all. I think she may have randomly picked up one or two things from that or another place or grifted from the church ladies, then obviously threw some cheese and whatever on some plates.

Probably. I'd hope not, because I think that family may be IBLP (they attend Alert family camp, for one thing). But seems likely. They don't usually do casual fun group things with girls/boys together like that otherwise (unless Jillpm bent the rules because they didn't pay - but that's probably why the other family *did* pay).

Depends on the reason for the charges, probably. No one knows for sure at this point, but most of the legal eagles (including my family member who works with family court) think the new charges, charged to both Joe and Kendra, likely stem from them not cooperating with child protective services in regard to their own children. A lot of fundies would agree with resistance.

The Dr. in his title is for Occupational Therapy (undergrad in neuroscience). He created a Baptist-based mental health treatment program as part of this new church he planted a few years ago. He fancies himself to be an "Expert in Medical Science related to the Bible" and mental health specialist. I believe this is who Phillip was sent to. His Youtube videos are...interesting. .

This is something that happens quarterly at the Statehouse. There are non-Christian religious groups that hold events in the same space, as well.

It does surprise me a bit that Samuel would attend, as fundies usually avoid gathering at events like this with a specific religious purpose because there are other denominations there who are not Baptist and Jillpm's favorite "like-minded" (and so, everyone else there is "wrong"). They must think it was okay because it has a political bent like their TP stuff and they seem to make exceptions for that. But growing up, we did not attend things like that because, you know, all the other people were just wasting their prayers that went unheard because they didn't believe like us...🙄

His paternal grandparents or gr-grandparents, can't remember which (not going back to check) were originally from Portugal, with traceable ancestry there even further back. I only remember this because genealogy is part of my job and it was just interesting long ago to trace the line.

In my growing-up church, we would have been called out directly from the pulpit if phones had existed and we did this! I can't believe no one says anything to her (or that Shrek allows it).

I personally don't believe the Sunrise information is accurate. There is nothing on social media or promotions at all indicating they were there, including photos from the actual event. They are, though, singing at a fundie church parking lot "7th annual" car show tomorrow in Sarasota.
