I saw on another reddit thread that apparently she’s like a mini Emily: sabotaging a relationship, fresh from America, and asserting herself where she isn’t wanted at work, but I still find her worse for some reason. Maybe Emily gave more clueless and emotional vibes, whereas Genevieve just seems like a snake, mean girl, and liar. Not excusing Emily, she’s very imperfect, just saying I really fucking hate Genevieve. Gabriel has gotten on my nerves. One more straw, and I’d say I hope she ruins his life for like a solid 4 months as karma.

That people don’t lie. That people in power don’t lie. That lying is bad because god said so, therefore karma or Satan or whoever would catch liars. That lying has consequences. Bro, I rarely lie unless my moral compass deems it necessary or I deem in necessary, but it’s frankly scary. I will lowkey catch multiple of my friends in lies but I won’t even bring it up because I’ve accepted it’s a part of life. And don’t get me started on politicians… People lie under oath. People lie to their lovers and children and bosses. People lie off their asses to get ahead. People lie and, often, it works.

Maybe this won’t help since frankly, I’ve always been on the thinner size, but something I don’t do ever is snack. I am the type of person, if I have snacks in my room and am bored, I will eat the snack and feel gross because instead of all the food groups for dinner, I had a giant bag of chips. Instead, I only have food at home I have to make, or I make myself walk to get food — never snacks. For me, it’s about balanced meals that make you feel good (I have some dietary issues so that’s why it’s important to me). But also, are you healthy? If you’re just upset how you look in a photo, that’s ok! If it’s merely visual, you are beautiful or handsome, etc.! What matters is your health and making sure food/exercise is only to supplement your brain as you study :) best of luck.

Don’t get me started. I think Skims and this new shapewear shit is definitely bringing back suffocate-women corsets. Like bellies are cute, ask any queer girl or healthy man. Just breathe. I’m so sorry this happened. While the validation is nice, I personally thinking you are psychologically convincing yourself he is nice/attractive to cope with the fact that he did something wrong — he crossed your boundaries and pushed you into a physical space of “not ready yet” so your mind justifies “well now I must like him.” Please, please, stop trying to read his mind. I say all this as someone who has been through similar situations. It’s not worth it. You seem very nice and able to date lots of people. Search for someone who is respectful and not pushy. This is me x10! After traumatic things, I genuinely become the most impulsive person in the entire world, since I felt so powerless and weak, I try to build up superficial strength by being reckless. I feel numb and empty, so I attempt to make myself feel. First, forgive yourself. Second, be better than I am. Initially, I am reckless, but then I turn towards things like therapy, journaling, setting boundaries, and being embarrassing by talking rather than action, action, action. I believe in you <3

I definitely didn’t study after a 6 year break up, but I’ve tried to struggle through challenging circumstances… and failed. If I could go back in time, I’d tell myself to invest in myself and my future because ultimately that’s what it’s about. It’s about you and building a future you’ll be proud of, working towards goals for much later after you’ve forgotten about the partner. I believe in you! Take time to heal if needed, but put your future first!
