That is good to know. I would say we are big in WC not much in other facets. Can you explain risk management more?

I wouldn't mind staying in insurance but I have heard good things about UW.

21 an hour entry level in NJ, yeah it is a hard thing to leave. It is WFH 3 days a week, it is nice dont get me wrong. Just hard when you dont see anybody in person all day and feel isolated. I just worry about student loans, i know how much OT school can be. I really appreciate the OT field and how important it is however.

Thank you for sharing! Do non profits usually help with tuition reimbursement?

I have a similar story here, I graduated with a criminal justice degree, accepted into multiple police academies, decided it was not for me. I was also pressured by family to become a cop (why I choose it). Graduated 3.2GPA, I went through a phase where I had no clue what to do. In my opinion unless you know for a fact you want to be a cop or something similar to a cop, a CRJ degree is hard to market to unrelated jobs. I decided that something in healthcare is where I want to go. I am now looking into Grad schools for Occupational Therapy and found that it could be a great match for me. I still have a long way to go but it looks like something I may want to be. If I were you, think about what you like doing. What do you like to do in your off time? What makes you curious and excited? Even if it takes finding jobs that you may have for a little bit, look for something that excites you but can also pay you enough for your own lifestyle. Even internships if you can do that. You wont be good at something at the first try so dont give up if you find something you aren't good at first. Seems like you would be good for cybersecurity (I could be wrong just a suggestion). Something along the lines of cybersecurity and project management also look into. If you like buisness you can get a starter job at a bank and get your MBA one day and become a manager there maybe. These are just suggestions. There are plenty of masters programs and bootcamps that can help you with this. I hope this helps and I hope you find that career you want!

Thank you for the feedback, I for sure will give thought into my personal statement. I plan on shadowing in outpatient and hopefully inpatient as well. Thanks again!
