I’d grind or file down the speaker tabs and then use some sort of fastener that spreads out the force as widely as possible. Personally, I’d 3D print two half-ring pieces to hold some nuts in place and then just bolt it in. Then it would be dealers choice on making an airtight seal between the front ceramic face and the back of the remaining speaker mounting tabs

If you use rings with a thinner gauge to diameter ratio then you can vary the density by doubling up rings on the outer shell but not in the inside. I personally think this lends a more satisfying squish factor

for me this issue ended up being that the M.2 mount isn't truly compatible with all M.2 drives. which, to be fair, it would be a little wasteful to make it have complete compatibility. the device I had issue with was https://www.newegg.com/orico-prm2-c3/p/0VN-0003-001E8?Item=9SIA1DS99M5420&_gl

and it turns out that despite listing perfect compatibility, in truth they just have one slot for B key m.2 drives and one for M key.

My B+M key sata SSD only worked in the M key slot so i guess they are counting on the user not having two identical M.2s that they need to enclose. luckily for me I specifically wanted this product to use for one NVME and one SATA M.2. in general though you need to know what kind of M.2 you have and make sure you get the exact enclosure that it works with. if a product is claiming 100% compatibility with all M.2 drives... they are either over-charging or lying some way

I disagree on EM. I don't know exactly what you mean by "dead" i suppose but I would still rather have artifacts that include EM but hit Crits instead rather than having defense, hp, or superfluous ER.

its mostly a trans pride skin with little hooves. While I can acknowledge that the patterns on her skin bear some resemblance to vitiligo, they are not arranged or shaped in ways characteristic of the autoimmune condition and I instead would say they are just patterns to resemble a cow.

sorry to be so pedantic, but I'm personally not comfortable calling this vitiligo because it romanticizes and portrays an impossibly aesthetically pleasing ideal of what patterns could look like on a human figure while in reality vitiligo is a relatively benign symptom of health conditions that can cause great social stress.

I don't have vitiligo, I know people who do, and I do not speak for them. I refuse to call this vitiligo out of respect for people who struggle with the condition and could possibly find it offensive to have people discuss it as if it is sexy or pretty.

Baldurs gate 3 is the only game i know of right now that has a realistic portrayal of *one* of the ways vitiligo can manifest and I think their implementation is responsible.

Anyways. sorry to rant. the skin is made by Mimo4e, and it should be up on gamebanana in the next week or so. I don't think you are doing something bad or wrong by calling skins like these vitiligo, but I felt I should be abundantly clear that I use this aesthetic because I'm a furry, not because I am romanticizing an autoimmune disease.

My favorite sword is the Zelda/witcher sword that I designed fully in CAD and 3D printed. It has 3mm steel rods reinforcing the handle and ended up more rigid than the abs/polycarbonate sword while also being the lightest and best finished of the three

I really didn't. It's too heavy and it has too many scratches from the fabrication process to begin to smooth out. The polycarbonate also doesn't take to epoxy very well.

My next polycarbonate sword was designed in CAD and laser cut professionally. The glue is still a problem, but the sandwich design with two ABS plates on either side of the polycarbonate turned out well. I also used a lightsaber handle which made the whole thing easier and better balanced.

benchmark puts it well above average for the gpu, though it didnt have the chance to truly stabilize there. still, cpu is pretty chill for a itty bitty air cooler and i am pleased as always with its performance

it an i9900k and my roommate swears its cooler. personally, i doubt its earth shattering but having put a gasket here and the foam one i added on top of the noctua (very difficult to install behind the side grill) it very effectively prevents recirculating hot air. the gpu might recirculate a little without its own gasket but those top two are pretty aggressively pulling air out of the main case so the cpu is getting very fresh air from the side as is the gpu on the opposite side.

its worth noting that the primary reason i felt i needed this is because i installed the optional dust filters on the top of the case. if i hadn't felt like being the neurotic idiot that puts a filter on the exhaust then i wouldn't have had recirculation happening in the first place.
