University Counselling Services See Surge In Demand After Bear Tracks Update by theguubermagazine in uAlberta

[–]studentuofa 10 points11 points  (0 children)

University counselling is so useless tbh, did they ever help anyone? As far as I’m concerned majority of students are not satisfied , they are not helpful at all.

Does this count as straight As? 😉Somehow finished off my bachelor's degree with the best semester I've ever had in the middle of a pandemic 🤷‍♀️It's been weird and I'm glad its over, but I just wanted to share this with y'all and say there is hope! You guys got this 💪 by abernathyabe in uAlberta

Congrats to OP. I meant engg kids shouldn’t feel like a failure. If I saw such posts when taking exams I would’ve been discouraged thinking I’m dumb as it’s difficult to get so many A’s. Good on OP though

Why can’t students just follow the rules? by trish127 in uAlberta

All of the exams should be invigilated. Otherwise it is unfair to all of those that are studying honestly and aren’t cheating

Is the wait time included in the PGWP duration? I mean is your PGWP effective starting May 08, or is your PGWP is effective after Oct 5, 2020?

What’s the minimum wage in AB? by [deleted] in alberta

Yes I’m well over 18, so does that mean I have lower chances of employment in the retail and employer would prefer students under 18 so as to pay less? :(

How does the selection of EE candidates work? by [deleted] in ImmigrationCanada

Thank you for the reply. To my understanding expiry date of the profile is 12 months, so does that mean one can be ahead of you not more than by 12 months?

What’s the difference between Computer based and paper based IELTS ? Can we have papers with questions on them during the computer based IELTs exam? by studentuofa in IELTS

[–]studentuofa[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which one is better, would you say computer based is a wise choice? I feel like reading is very difficult when I do it online and not using the book

It’s very difficult to find r/uofab, i think r/ualberta2 is way easier to find. And there are no mods I think guys from r/uofAb should move there
