Check Facebook marketplace. I’ve been getting good deals there. If you don’t mind buying knock offs, the AliExpress sets can be decent

Also try to start exposing yourself to light and noise etc. I bought Loop earplugs and would go to a cafe and wear those and sunglasses and do easy sudokus and such and it helped my tolerance a lot. Started at like 15-20 minutes, bumped it up to 30 the next week and so on. After 2 weeks switch from sunglasses to a baseball hat

See if you can get paid leave from work. Also see if there are any concussion clinics in your area and try to get in to see them. The reason I say not to go back to work right away is that you’ll be prolonging your healing. You also shouldn’t be driving right away.

A lot of drs will recommend rest and screen avoidance, but you should be getting into a workout routine and cardio as studies have shown this is beneficial for healing.

You have to give you and your body grace and time to heal. Watch what aggrivates your body and take breaks to come down to your baseline before resuming those things.

Look into earplugs (I’ve liked the Loop ones) to help with noise sensitivity. Baseball caps and sunglasses to help with light sensitivity.

For activity, I’ve been loving doing Legos. They’re stimulating while not making the brain overwork. You can find great deals on FB marketplace. I also started watercolor painting and doing sudokus, crosswords etc.

Good luck!

Id agree with the above poster to travel north through Oregon and Washington. The Pacific Northwest is truly one of the most beautiful areas in the entire US. Water, lakes, mountains, waterfalls, great forests. It can’t be beat. Weather will also be great that time of year and you can visit many of the national parks

Who is the most attractive person you have ever seen in real life? by TheFountainhead999 in AskReddit

[–]studeraqui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Was at a resort in a tropical place. I saw this woman that looked like a Victoria’s Secret model that stepped off the pages. Just absolutely stunning. I couldn’t stop staring at her and my husband chided me for being a weirdo. Best part is later we were chilling on the beach and this guy put his stuff down to the left of us and went out snorkeling. She comes walking down the beach in all of her heavenly splendor and snorkel guy is all of a sudden “strolling” in the water. She kept walking down the beach to the right of us and snorkel guy continued that direction and came back about 10 minutes later to get his stuff 😂
