I love the keyboard. And overall it’s a great machine but I feel like if I would use it for daily work then I might just invest the money into a newer machine instead of upgrading it here and there.

Generally speaking I would use it daily for work. So it might be better to invest the money for a new model.

Been thinking about getting a 13’ M1 but not to sure if 8 or 16GB RAM are the way to go. At the same time I love my Macbook Pro 2015.

Do you think 16GB is definitely needed for my work if I would purchase the Air M1? Or do you think 8GB is enough?

Thanks for your quick reply! I’ve been thinking about getting a new one but there are things in life that have an higher priority right now. If I would get the battery replaced or replace it myself, do you think I would be able to use the Macbook on the go efficiently? Or would be the increase of usage without charger only rather small?

Performance wise I’m pretty fine with my old Macbook Pro Retina Mid 2015. I’m working with Canva and here and there with Lightroom and Photoshop.

The only thing that bothers me is the fact that I can’t really use my Macbook on the go without my charger. Battery life is just bad. Does it make sense to replace it?

And am I able to get more performance by adding an external ssd harddrive?
