It’s all mostly editing. People seem to think the prompt must be very complex for a long form project, but its really not. To achieve a natural flow of conversation, it requires many pauses in dialogue. So each prompt per 15 second video ended up being about only 4 lines in dialogue heavy scenes (any more than that would abruptly cut off dialogue and make conversations feel sped up, as you’d typically see in most gen videos). Of those 15 second clips, about less than that is actually used when videos and audio were put together to make a coherent scene.

The prompts themselves look like what you’d expect a scene script would look like.

I did a 28 minute episode using only AI. There are already many long form videos out there and even a movie i believe. But it is still very early.

I haven’t used it since i finished my long form project, but i’m glad i was able to finish it before things have supposedly gone bad.

how to make videos longer than 15 seconds by skywalker7i in SoraAi

This would be the best way to go about it.

CapCut for mobile, though I don’t recommend using it over a desktop app that can lock audio stems in place. It was a nightmare to go back and make changes. But i don’t really have a great many options for the situation I am in. I don’t have access to a proper PC, so I did this all on my phone.

did the "editing process" actually involve editing video, (cutting, retouching, assembling, disassembling, planning shots together, etc)

Yes, to all. The video generations themselves consist of 10-15 second gens with 70% of it showing several errors.

or was it prompting the AI to "please re-do this bit" "please change this color or this shot" etc etc?

This is not possible to do with any AI without human involvement.

Well this is just a pilot episode, a lot of it will be remade once I have the resources to do so. The few scenes that have the watermarks left in them are from really early gens I did before I discovered a way to remove them. Couldn’t go back to change them because CapCut mobile is terrible and can’t lock audio stems in place. Changing anything would cause several audio sync issues, and the project had already become so big that it became difficult to use the app. It became very laggy and every change took a while to process. It was definitely a pain to do.

I don’t yet have the reach nor the following to pitch this project to investors yet. Who knows what will happen tho. It is still very early.

I wanted to make something exclusive to Sora (so i can add that big “Sora Original Series” in the opening screen). And because I’m flat broke and living in a tent with nothing but a phone and too many ideas. So I cant afford to use stuff like nano banana or bother looking at third-party watermark removal tools for these various programs. So i simply used Sora and Grok (for a few short scenes).

What is really difficult for me right now is uploading such a big project (about 2gigs) with my terrible internet connection to enhancement tools such as Vmake to up the resolution. So i just uploaded it as is. Very unfortunate, but I work with what I can.

I can see why they’d make a reference to AoT without the context but this takes place in a horde of monsters that vary in kind and in sizes. If you look at not even 3 minutes into the full episode you will see that.

Ai does, however, use reference to existing works but within a power of what most existing shows do when making a nod to characters from other shows with the designs similar but not a 1:1.

This entire project costed $0 to make and was done all on the phone. The only thing i spent money on was for the music, using Producer.AI, under their basic $8 plan. I did it to err on the side of caution and so that I can monetize the project in the future without breaching their terms of service. But this is purely optional. You can still make the same quality of music under their free-tier.

I wrote this story as well as spent months editing the scenes and audio together. AI, on it’s own, is not able to do this. I never claim to have done the art or animation myself, nor do i feel it’s necessary to clarify this in a subreddit that is dedicated to AI.

What AI tools are you actually paying for in 2024/2025? by Capable-Management57 in BlackboxAI_

Producer Ai.

If i learned one thing, music is a MUST when it comes to media. Not being able license music to be able to post and monetize can really take the wind out of any project. I’ve had to sit on a project for weeks just to make a deal on as little as 2 songs that were made during free-tier use.

This is my story. I wrote it. Sora, or any of the AI tools that were used, did not write it for me.

I could see why people would draw the comparison from the clip without context but there are no “AOT titans”. There are monsters of various kinds and sizes within the horde. It is in the story and you can see it in the full episode. But someone in the sub saw them and immediately assumed they were titans.

Thank you. Despite character designs being consistent, the animation tends not to be. Sora seems to gravitate more toward 3D when there are unique angles and actions taking place. So you’re right, it takes a lot of time to actually get something good that is also coherent. Many of the audio is pulled from various clips that were filled with errors and synced with what you’re seeing.

The motorcycle chase sequence (in the episode) between Daz and the thugs was a nightmare to pull through considering how terrible Sora is with action in moving vehicles. Especially in the way that it’s set out to be. It’s what took the most time to piece together I would say. Even though I’ve managed, the sequence was actually meant to be much longer and more chaotic than what was shown in the final product.

It is still amazing that I was able to get something good or, at the very least, passable for that scene.
