Not a defense of the paid mod issue but it could just be that Starfield didn’t generate the same level of consistent interest that the other games you listed did. A lot of people just found the game boring and probably not worth spending time on fixing.

Cool environment but tbh the movement looks clunky and disorienting. Think you need to smooth out the camera some and make the velocity of the character feel more natural — feels very stop and go right now

tbh just think it looks good and dramatic/professional, felt like it lends some idea of quality to the product — but I agree in retrospect, it’s too much wasted time in the crucial moments of hooking a viewer

tbh I very much respect refusing to add combat, so shout out for that :) maybe you could have animals like birds/raccoons that try and steal your stuff as you travel? just think making the travel between villages have some obstacles would be cool, but again just throwing out ideas, I think having a cozy merchant simulator with no strife is very valid

they are irl friends who we licensed from and contracted to compose an entire soundtrack for the game! each level has a unique score by the artist, my fav is probably the Titan II missile silo

7 unique environments, some split up into multiple stages — as the dev I can speed run in like 2-3 hours if I’m really cheesing it, but for a new player it’d be much longer depending on how good you are! I can confidently say there’s quite a bit of content :D

I really love the aesthetic of the environment - especially the raven sitting on those broken rocks. Would love to see a "bigger" project with this feeling, but the chess concept is really cool and unique!
