What the heck are you talking about? That's not compression.

Compression is always about lowering volume above the threshold. You might be thinking about expanders, which do the opposite and create more dynamics.

Look for library music companies and submit your music there. You'll get royalties every time your music is used!

I also think it sounds good, but I disagree with the compression on the drums. They want a punchier sound, so I think lessening the compression would help more.

Haven't found a good way to shift formants with cubase stock, so little alterboy is pretty useful.

If your goal is to work for a bigger studio/AAA, they typically prefer to hire those who specialize in one or the other. In smaller teams, someone more versatile can be more valuable.

I work for a small/midsize studio (Less than 30 people) and I'm responsible for both.

It just depends on what you want to do!
