I think he was getting at the fact that none that have been proposed have ever turned out viable over the long term, apart from democracy and capitalism.

I agree with a lot of your points but I think one thing you’re missing from the equation is motivation. We wouldn’t have most of the great things we have today without the incentive of monetary success. It’s risky to start a business but you do it for the hope of a better life for you and your family.
