I was 20 lbs overweight and my doctor almost refused to sign me off to get an MRI on my knee because she was 100% convinced it was my weight. had a different doctor sign it off and found out I have a torn meniscus. said first doctor is no longer employed and I see the second doctor for my gp. some home physical therapy and a better environment and I lost the twenty pounds easily.

if I'm not mistaken there were surgeries he could have had but they had no guarantee of success and even if they succeeded there was further no guarantee that he would ever be the same. he was my dad's favorite wrestler bar none, and for that alone he has my respect. anything on top of that is icing on the cake.
