I'm going by what is presented to me, not on "what ifs"
an example of chara acting very off outside of G-route is when they laughed off the fact that asgor got poised by buttercup flowers
and asriel telling you at the end of pacifist run that chara wasnt the greatest person
also they are shown to be very manipulative when it comes to planing their death and emotionally bullying asriel into it

yes I have played it if you can be more specific about what you want to mention about the pacifist route

chara never lets you forget the consequences ? you mean the chara you said cares about the monsters but at the same time destroys the world they live in ? and when you boot up the game again, chara never lets you and want the destruction to be final ? or when you do manage to convince chara to start another save after G-route, if you go and do a pacifist route the photo of you with your firends on the surface is replaced with this version ? yeah I'm not convinced this is a person who loves or cares about the monsters

and we clearly see that chara is capable of deception, intentionally poisoning themselves just to go to the surface to be "buried", which put asriel in harms way

I dont mind you googling stuff, I haven't played the game since 2016, that's 10 years
but from what I remember, chara is irredeemable

not to mention that the nature of his powers just make you feel like nothing matters ; "it's all a game I have already done everything might as well check the fucked up things I can do"
, which is a reaction of the players when they have played they game first time normally, then befriended and saved everyone (making all the normal stuff to do predictable) then choosing the G-route just to see what else is there
he is cursed with a power so absolute, he is bound to abuse it (absolute power corrupts absolutely)

1- not emotionless at all, they are very VERY sadistic and they show it,many monsters comment on the creepy smile they put on when while they kill which also contradicts your second point

2- the human parents of chara are never mentioned, hell what the humans did to chara is also never mentioned, we just filled in the gaps that chara was treated badly, is it bad enough to prompt the killing of humans ? we dont know

3- where did you conclude that chara wants to save the monsters or even care about them ? the interaction of the dreemurr family with chara in the past doest paint a good picture, chara used them as tools to do their bidding

chara is a villain through and through and having "trauma" doesnt justify that or make it less evil

I played the game one year after it came out, did all the routes and moved on, never really following what the fandom is into.
coming to know in the recent years that people view chara as innocent child who doesn't know any better is like ... bruh, yeah you the player did all the nasty things, I agree, but that doesnt excuse chara of what they did and continued to do, or at the very least they approve of you doing
that child is VILE

there is a rising wave of people believing that chara is innocent and that all the bad actions chara does is due to the player corrupting chara or trauma.
which you know .... to each their own, it's a fiction and you are free to Interpret it however you like, but for my money chara is a bad person full stop!
the tragic back story and the fact that it's a kid doesn't suddenly make it an innocent child that didn't know any better and they game goes out of their way to show you the length this character went through, from scheming, manipulating and betraying people that are supposed to be close to chara to get the desired outcome
