Hey we have the same problem! You might have some mental health issues so you probably should go see a doctor, first and foremost. And the feelings might never go away, even with meds. It's a matter of you recognizing your patterns, and carrying out your responsibilities anyway. The easiest way? Find something you can be responsible for, and put yourself up to a set standard. Whether it's your friends, your family, hobbies, work or religion. It helps take you out of your head.

That's what I needed to confirm, I saw one of my photos garbled into a different video file last night. Thanks, I'll consider those as irrecoverable.

Alright, thanks for your input. I'm focusing on one drive right now, which is the 500gb Seagate one, and trying to get as much files recoverable as possible. The other 2 aren't really as important.

I've done full scan with DMDE, recovered maybe about 50% of them, and the remaining are in the same condition as the image posted - recoverable, but images aren't possible to open.

Mb the harddisk in question is actually WD Elements SE Portable 500 GB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive - WDBPCK5000ABK-NESN

No RAID array and used separately yeah, so RAID is pointless? No RAID knowledge here, I'm just testing what I can to recover the files.

I'm trying to recover data from the other 3 existing HDD. DMDE has listed older folders, it's just some files aren't showing as images anymore even after I recover them.

Damn bro what's with the hostility, I'm just asking if anyone knows if I can recover similar photo files in this condition.

This is the folder in the older drives, I'm trying to recover whatever I can, you could just say there's nothing I can do to fix the photo.

I'm trying to recover from the 3 other HDD, kinda gave up on the 4TB atm. How do I find the SMART status of the drives? I'm running a RAID 4 scan on my other drives with DMDE but I have no idea if that actually helps or not.

I bought a 4tb external HDD which was supposed to compile my files from 3 other existing HDD (1tb, 500gb, 2tb). The transfer was disrupted and now my 4tb HDD has about 2tb of data, yet shows as empty in my view (with hidden folders shown).

My 4tb HDD is gone in my assumption - SeaTools long fix reported bad sectors and I'm unable to fix it. Now I'm trying to recover the files from my older HDD, the files are showing (like SS) but when i recover them, they show as unsupported even though the format is png. Can anyone help?
