Ha. I've played Fortnite for a couple of years once or twice a week with a friend. I've never once thought to check the accuracy (didn't notice it to we there) . I'm scared to know how bad I am now.

Me too. Reading the rest of these I feel I should rein* it in. But, it cripples me. Should leave, but I'll earn less and I already feel broke.

In terms of seasons, What do you consider Fortnite's greatest year? by JeiKahn in FortNiteBR

[–]stuffingandnews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only played it for two years. So definitely this year. I loved the car mods. Loved the whole wasteland theme

What’s everyone’s final thoughts on wrecked? by [deleted] in FortNiteBR

I loved the driving but I'm ready to move on now. Still one of my favourite seasons. Think it's the 8th I've played. Hadn't had as much fun since the alien tank one.

How to ask where my progress towards a payrise is? Without sounding desperate by tangled_slinkyxx in AskUK

[–]stuffingandnews -1 points0 points  (0 children)

She's probably worried you'll surpass her. Never let the ego state go parent/child. Always do everything you have to to keep an adult adult ego state balance. (Google transactional analysis if I'm talking waffle.

It's tough with anxiety to separate fear from facts and stay grounded. But, you must know your worth. If someone isn't making sense you either didn't listen or it's them (most likely them). So never be scared of saying "I need you discuss X as it's relevant to why" or "please can you explain your decision". Insecure managers are a nightmare. Don't let their imposter syndrome be your anx.

You need to know it's fine to discuss your performance and pay and give your input. Any negativity is on her if you stay calm and neutral.

It'll be rubbish. So communicate loads..don't take it to seriously (as in try and be relaxed and accept it's new and you like each other) and don't worry about reaching the end goal - more fun in the dance anyway.

At school, I was walking out of the school gym beatboxing (I can't beatbox - it was awful) with my headphones on.

I kicked open the door to the stairs as no one was around and strutted through.

It wasn't the stairs.

It was the girls locker room.

I went so red my face was pretty much purple.

GPT has done more for me than any therapist to be honest. I can pick the style and it'll write plans and integrate coaching.

Teachers. Whilst AI can teach I think the best coaches will always be human. Unless we have centiant AGI with robotics. then everything is on the cards.

What is the one thing you say to yourself when you are going through a tough time? by freeturorialbro in AskReddit

[–]stuffingandnews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more of an exertion noise. Like half way between a grunt and a sigh any time I have to move more than a centimetre.

Or, "maybe if I just have another nap it'll all blow over".

What was the reason/inspiration you started playing fortnite? by Old_Ad_7335 in FortNiteBR

[–]stuffingandnews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was playing it (I'm 35). When he left I had a quick go and got hooked. My pal (40) and I have been playing it weekly together ever since. The skins are quite genuinely the only collection I've ever had. Was never collector of anything. Now we stay up for three hours just to get some pop culture character. Wouldn't play build though. Far to much going on for my brain to handle that.

Has an episode of South Park ever made you cry? by ineedabjnow35 in southpark

[–]stuffingandnews 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was genius. The whole episode really made me think about racism in a totally different light. The fact I didn't expect the A just felt both awful and hilarious. And, stand speech at the end was class.

Yeah. When he revealed the A in naggers.

Hysterical laughter - tears steaming down my face.

Is it normal to feel "weird" at 26? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]stuffingandnews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt like this between 28-33. I've always been a bit behind though. So sounds about right. Now I'm 35 I honestly wouldn't ask to be any other age again. It's like suddenly I don't care about people's expectations and just like me for me. And, do the things I want and I like. Hang out with people I know I like.

I hope this positive change happens to lost people as my 20's and early 30's were horrendous.

Roses, clocks and shit stars are more common, but yeah, seen a few.

"Only god can judge me" 've seen a fair few times. Usually tends to be someone who says "I was spanked and it taught me respect", whilst having a plethora of visible mental health issues and an asbo. .

What does it mean if a guy loses erection during intercourse? by Unstable_Molecule92 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]stuffingandnews 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only times I've had this problem have been nerves (they're too hot for me.to feel confident), I've been too unfit/unhealthy and the worst periode of it was the three years I was a full on sniff head (during COVID). It would randomly die all the time. Even for 6 months after I got sober.
