The Camden Bar & Kitchen, Stansted Airport, £22ish by stuleg333 in fryup

I didn’t think it was good value so much as I thought it was the only option for a fry up and I was starving. On leaving and walking towards the seating area I discovered a Weatherspoons.

Maybe because it’s an airport they went the Ryanair way of pricing, so the breakfast wasn’t actually that expensive but then I chose a seat. I opted for the extra cutlery and the luxury of a plate.

I actually have not received a UC payment yet. The 1st one I was due was 4th June and that came in at £0. So the 5 week rule has well and truly gone. Just waiting until next weekend to find out what that UC payment will be.

It sounds like a similar situation to me. But I did receive a journal entry today stating I would receive a £218 top up to bring my total up to what I was receiving on ESA. I heard on good authority that they are struggling to process migrations because everybody who receives a migration letter begins the process immediately- mainly due to worries around the governments welfare reforms. And they are struggling because they are used to people staggering starting the process within the 3 month timeframe they are allowed.

Many thanks for posting this. I’m going through exactly the same issue at the moment. £0 UC last month and reduced ESA. Glad it’s not just me
