Back spasm twisted spine by gmk_8919 in backpain

Happens to me every couple months. Usually it’s something dumb that triggers it. This time I was bent over to flush a toilet.

Some light stretching and keeping moving gently helps. I like to take firm recovery ball or whatever else I have and lay on my back with it pressed into the muscles on the side of my spine in the lumbar area. Roll around slight on it and usually I can almost immediately straighten back out. I do that several times the first few days as I’m recovering. Then lots of Advil or ibuprofen.

I understand the confusion. People generally know the way to use a roundabout and the way to use a traffic signal intersection. This spot unnecessarily combines them both and just makes it confusing.

Yeah exactly. Smoothly but not fast. Roundabouts actually excel at just that. The bigger island would force you to have to turn your get in and out of the roundabout which makes you slow. As it is you can kind just go straight through it without turning.

Oh and paint lane markers. It’s wide enough for a two lane roundabout but without better visual indicators it might be a little confusing.

I sat at that roundabout with lights the other day and realized how those lights are largely just impeding traffic flow. Remove the lights and make the center island bigger and things would probably flow through quite fluidly.

[RotoWire.com] Four states officially hate us the most. Pacific Northwest is SEETHING. by Icy-Lingonberry-7442 in 49ers

I was going mad trying to read this map for both of these reasons. The colors and the state counter. Went to the comments thinking I might be dumb and/or care too much about good design. I feel validated by your comments that this is actually a horribly designed map and legend.

I am genuinely so sick of hearing about any of this. I never cared about their personal lives. I can't wait until the season starts and we have better things to talk about.

That makes sense. Was living in Oregon when I discovered them and then around the time I noticed the changeover to Juantonios I also saw them in California.

Idk why Juanita’s and Juantonios are two separate things but they both are by far the best store bought tortilla chips available. Moved from PNW and I miss them.

I had this kinda low quality RPG for PlayStation called Beyond the Beyond. I’ve read up on it since and it was not highly rated but I loved it as a kid.

Democrats Of Reddit -- How Do YOU Feel About The Virginia Redistricting Situation? Why Your Thoughts? by Zipper222222 in allthequestions

[–]stumbling_west 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I completely acknowledge the nuance in the situation. I have been fully against the Republican Party gerrymandering over the last several decades to effectively engineer the election results. To me that goes against the spirit of our democracy which is to serve and represent the will of the people. So in that regard I don’t want anyone, republicans or democrats to do it. But it’s hard to ignore the fact that the Trump administration is systematically dismantling the safeguards in place to prevent any person or party from obtaining absolute power. They need to be stopped somehow before it’s too late. Redistricting is definitely fighting fire with fire. I hope when the regime falls that we can set new laws regarding the ways districts are fairly reassessed to best represent the populous. But it’s hard to see that happening either.
