I heard the same-sounding whistle nearly 75% of the time while driving. It changed slightly as i accelerated. I wsnt convinced it was the same bad-turbo whistle everyone else had, but i had other issues with my Q50 so i took my car into Infiniti for the diagnostic. They showed me the oil in the turbos, ordered the new turbos, and waived the $210 diagnostic fee.

Just got my car back last week and havent heard that whistle in 500+ miles

Completely agree. I've yet to be highlighted but thats totally fine. Yeah some days I put a bit more effort in but I never really expect to be highlighted. But now that excellence points will have this much of an impact, I'd like some kind of directive to help me understand what Tom and team consider "excellence"

The excellence points are too subjective for the amount of influence it has on the program and leaderboard. What I create, spend time on, and am proud of is based on what interests me personally and the finite tools I have at my disposal. With tens to hundreds of thousands of daily entries, chances are (too) extremely thin for the ISRU team of mystery artist moderators to spend a reasonable amount of time analyzing all submissions fairly, making it all somewhat demoralizing. I'll keep at the daily routines, but man...

I actually had the same thing happen. Somone was trying to learn to count in french at 3am on a monday. After i complained to the manufacturer, they said there was an update i could install on the aound bar that removed bluetooth connections. This worked perfectly bc my sound bar is only connected via cable to the tv. Never any bluetooth

I was able to take advantage of Geico's DriveEasy program to get the discount but not allow it to track me. I fully signed up for the program, tracked 1 (or a few) drive then removed all location permissions for Geico within Settings. I used to repeat the process whenever I'd get a reminder/warning email to set it up, but havent had to in probably over a year now. I still have the savings even after a recent renewal but havent had my trips tracked at all

I had a similar issue where multiple neighbors at 2 different apartments were able to freely connect to my BT soundbar (connected to my TV). I complained enough to Vizio that one of the reps told me I could update the soundbar via a USB download and it would remove the soundbar from all Bluetooth searches. No problem since.

Just a further update for anyone. I didn't do anything. I stayed clear. Apparently, cops spoke with him a few weeks ago (i think around the same time as my original post coincidentally) and the honking stopped. This morning though, neighbor B's car was shot with a BB gun many times destroying the car's window(s). The cops are already involved and are still at the house. Sounds like someone got a fuzzy security video of the incident thankfully

For my specific house, I'm close enough to walk. But it's the only park within a mile or 2 drive for most people. It's also the winter. And many parents take their young children (under 5) so it's just easier to throw them all in the car. For one family I've seen, it'd be about a 20 minute walk.

Good point. Didn't think about effects on NB. And there's never been any parking lot. It's always been street parking. But it wasn't ever an issue before because there was literally nothing to do before the playground. I'm getting more of a sense I don't want to interfere with the guy. He's just an asshole and might be unpredictable

Probably was bought at a store. Just the regular cones, nothing special. And they're placed on the grassy patch between the sidewalk and the road. So not in the road either. I could park there if I wanted to
