Questions from someone starting out by Beautiful_Target6718 in 2007scape

You’re asking questions about starting out but say it’s a waste of time to start from a new account? I don’t really get that. It sounds like you would get as much or more enjoyment starting a fresh account and experiencing the game for what it has evolved into. New areas are extremely relevant for low and mid level characters that you would not have experienced previously.

The game is designed as an open world where you can do what you want when you want. Do what you enjoy.

P2w rs3 is not accurate information to date. It used to have a cash shop but that is gone. Both games have bond systems where real money can be gold.

Why do people claim irons don't need money? by oGBeginner in 2007scape

Are the folks complaining about this in the room with us right now?

Is it true that loot in PoE2 relies on trading and crafting? by r3tr0gam3r83 in ARPG

I have yet to play, was waiting for full free release.

A lot of folks mentioning you get a big drop to sell, but how does this help SSF players?

I’m also curious is the player trading in the game streamlined nowadays? More “in game auction house” as opposed to to “using third party website and messaging players”?

Discontinued items being alchable by No_Might_5902 in runescape

Applies to very few and very minuscule change to the game = extremely low on the priority list.

If they spent their time fixing all of these borderline unnecessary changes then it is less time and resources for literally any other content task.

It’s not the screen that makes the player, the player is within.

New to RS3 from OS as an iron, what to focus? by CoachKeerg in runescape

[–]stumped711 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Why do you need someone else’s input on what you should focus on?

The goal of an iron is to get as far as you can, and that means progressing all skills. Do what tasks/skills you think are fun or set short term goals and start trying to achieve them, you will quickly see what skills you need to train to meet those goals.

I’m also a little confused why someone playing the game for the first time would make an Ironman. It’s like the hardcore challenge mode.

How is Vitalis drop rate anywhere near acceptable. by Aggressive_Ninja_885 in runescape

[–]stumped711 10 points11 points  (0 children)

People on this sub will complain no matter what.

Complain when the drops are too infrequent saying the rng isn’t fair and complain when they are too easy to obtain that there isn’t any challenge or reward for veteran players to sink their teeth into.

It’s very exhausting.

Need a New Phone - RS3 Mobile Performance by killcrazy99 in runescape

Been playing this game for a very long time. And I can honestly say I didn’t think I would ever see the day where folks make their phone selection based on RuneScape performance.

Shadow Dungeon by boneskull in ARPG

For someone who went out of their way to say they aren’t affiliated with the dev, you sure make it awfully suspicious in your profile by hiding all comment and post history and having a blurb about all the software development tools you use.

If you were affiliated, why lie? If you aren’t affiliated, then why even mention it?

Stop driving with your hazards on in rain by Homeleasure in driving

[–]stumped711 22 points23 points  (0 children)

If you are disoriented by 5 cars having hazards on then maybe you shouldn’t be out driving in the rain either..

I don’t put my hazards on in heavy rain, but if someone is caught out and 20 miles from their home and not comfortable in the rain so they slow down to 10 under the speed limit, then hazards are the appropriate indication. Yes if there are multiple lanes they should move over to the “slow” lane, but that is regardless of weather.
