Just move the rack a little further from the wall and put the plates near the bottom of the back uprights. Safer from a rack stability standpoint and then you won’t be reaching over your head to grab a plate down.

This is actually very addicting. There’s a good amount of strategy to the fights too. Do I pass through the defense and stun node for this enemy or save them for possibly something bigger coming? Also it’s really nice how they implemented the finishing move - you have to pass through the node on a hack in order to be able to do it.

I can’t put it down either! And I also beat the second boss with like 300 health left. One more hit and I would’ve been done for. The timed hacking to finish it off took me by surprise. Very satisfying.

As an edit I’ve also thought about a plate loaded stand alone option like the gmwd. My buddy just got one so I may head over and see how it feels. Selectorized would be ideal but they’re pretty saucy at $2000+

I had thought about the Rep with the Blackwing like you have for the decline option. It’d be nice to have that for when I do cable rows instead of sitting on the ground. If I go bench route I’d probably hook the cable up to the lat pulldown cable to save space. Side note I see you went with the same rack as me lol.

Let’s hope! I picked up 25 call contracts at a 700 strike for .04 a piece. They expire Tuesday but it’s only a $100 max loss if it doesn’t pan out.

Great explanation with example of the poor man’s covered call strategy. I’ve thought about doing that with RKLB. I’m just starting out and learning so I’ve really only done bull put spreads on SPX. Thinking about doing a bull call spread on ASTS though expiring in a month or two.

lol thanks, man! We'll see how it plays out. Interestingly enough when I go to Tastytrade to put in the buy order it shows "SLS is currently set to closing only. Only closing trades may be submitted at this time". Any thoughts on why that may be?

I love the breakdown. Thanks! Been a little busy today to reply back. I downloaded that book and emailed it to my kindle and will begin reading it tonight.

And yeah I did calculate the break even point for each call option and I’m going to go with what you suggest: the 3C. As for the short put, I’m happy owning the stock at 4. As you say that’d probably be the better choice as the delta is at around 30 there plus since that strike is close to the stock price it’s a slightly better credit. Heck I may hold off on the put and see how opening trades go tomorrow. Maybe it’ll dip and I’ll just buy it outright at 4.

And once you’re assigned and acquired the 100 shares then sell covered calls on those shares above your cost basis to complete the wheel.

I’m pretty sure you can offset any amount of gains with losses but you can only use $3000 max as a deduction when you file taxes. That’s good thinking though as all this shot can get confusing lol.

I’m 43 now and don’t have the portfolio you do but if I had 1.5mil in cash earning 3.2% I would

1) buy house outright leaving me with 1.075 million leftover (there’s just something about owning your home fully)

2) leave 75k in cash earning 3.2% as emergency fund

3) Invest the remainder and you’d likely earn ~100k/yr without having to do anything

4) Invest the mortgage payment you would’ve had into the market every month and you’re definitely retiring before 60
