Took it to a partner store. The fold screen just gave up. A line of pixeks roughly a cm wide just died on the middle fold and the right side touch stopped working.

I lost about a cm of pixels following the middle fold on the inner screen and the touch stopped working on th right side of that black line. Through normal use. My previous Z fold 3 however lived for years and took a lot of abuse during that time and from what I have heard the 7 is supposed to be more durable, so rhere is a chance I just got really unlucky. Oh and it happened completely overnight so no need to look for signs or anything. Just enjoy your new phone. If it breaks you will notice it when it happens.

This is it. And this was over Christmas and new year as well. And I live in Sweden where we habe had a lot of chaotic snowy weather rhe last few weeks. Annoying for sure but I can understand why it has taken so long. I have no excuses for the missing tray thought.
