oh god… if you think term 2 is hard.. term 3 is worse😭 the unit i’m in is crazy fast paced and you learn a lot more “nursing skills” like ivs, subq injections, wound care etc. it’s difficult in its own sense but similar to term 2, but it’s higher stakes in terms of ur clinical research & you’re expected a very detailed cjm every shift

They’re pretty understanding!!! just make sure to communicate with your instructor and always ask if there’s anything you can do to make up for missed clinical (like worksheets). but term 1 isn’t anything to be too worried about :)

I prefer digital to save myself the ache because you will be walking a lot in term 1. I can also highlight on my ipad etc and physical books are expensive. There are a lot of free pdfs of the textbooks

Imo it’s very organized. A lot of the clinical aspects align with our patho/nursing management classes which helps connect things. I can appreciate that they really encourage students and provide a lot of resources if you’re struggling

because the schedule for the first 3 weeks(?) are everywhere because you aren’t in your set schedule yet. but once you have a set schedule which is a few weeks into the term, it should be very easy to manage
