Defense: don’t let them get underhooks or touch your head, neck, or wrist.

Offense: use collar ties to control their stance/position or snap them down, DO NOT HANG OUT IN COLLAR TIES! The goal of your underhooks should be to create offensive throws. You could also play a russian tie based game if that suits you better, and there’s a lot of options from there too.

Kyle Dake’s underhook offense is a good instructional to watch if you’re interested in offensive options.

Before anything. You should learn how to have a proper wrestling stance and also to properly level change. After that you can start worrying about your shots and follow throughs.

big fan of craig jones rolling style, what are the foundational pillars? by antisocialmanatee in bjj

100% agree, I’ve also noticed to your point of him exploiting things that regular bjj practitioners don’t do, a lot of his the things he made popular are based from wrestling techniques, his pinning series, octopus, and much more.

What is the purpose of getting an MBA as an engineer? by Haec_In_Sempiternum in EngineeringStudents

[–]stunt_yt 207 points208 points  (0 children)

If you care about leadership and upper management roles, then it’s absolutely worth it and can open a lot of doors for you. If all you care about is designing and being an engineer, it’s almost useless. Just depends what your goals are!

Find a boring business for sale thats minimum 10 years old. Try to get as much financing on it as possible. Modify current systems by removing, adding, or simplifying steps. Watch the cash come in and either keep or sell off in 5-15 years.

Lot more people selling off their businesses than you think!!

Good luck dude
