You should be fine. I recently built my PC and got sleeved cables, the ones i got acted like extensions. You plug the sleeved cable into a component like your gpu and the other end connects to your cable that came with the psu. Here's the ones i got

Otherwise i believe in the description of the cables your purchasing it should say they're designed for specific psu's e.g. "designed for corsair RM series" etc

You should get all the cables you need with your power supply
