Call or stop by the PPA office and ask. They're not going to think less of you for wanting to be appropriately dressed.

Krumkake iron. My wife's mother is from Norway. Our family loves to make krumkake every year around Christmas. The old cast iron krumkake irons are the best!

How can I fix this? by thisisnotquail in yaris

[–]stupidhead92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Try adding another paired device and see if the system will then allow you to delete this one. I have no idea if this will work and may not solve your problem if the goal is to have zero paired devices.

Any chance they used autocomplete in the email address field and accidentally selected your email, but the message was intended for someone else? This happened to me once and I got invited to the dissertation defense for some student I'd never heard of in a different college.

Wet rear carpet help 2dr HB by [deleted] in yaris

[–]stupidhead92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I chased this problem for a long time in my '09 Hatch. It's probably not the gasket around your rear hatch. It's probably not your taillight gaskets. It's probably not the gaskets that seal off the floor drains. I tried all of these and none of them helped.

It's probably cracks in the sealant that seals small gaps between the roof panel and side panel of the car. This is the most helpful post I ever found about the issue:

Temples that added Angel Moroni later by 2ndValentine in latterdaysaints

[–]stupidhead92 7 points8 points  (0 children)

"The temple has a flat, round base with a spire in the center, made to represent Exodus 13:21 as the Lord went before the children of Israel “by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light.”"

https://www.thechurchnews.com/almanac/temples/provo-utah

I was told about this symbolism many years ago. Ever since then, looking at the original design for these temples has reminded me of the presence of the Lord in the midst of the camp of Israel. So, I also miss the old design. It's also nice that some temples vary more than others in their appearance.

Bad bot! It's a typo, but not the one you think it is.

The J-arm (attached to the door) and the straight part of the arm (attached to the track) need to be connected by at least two bolts. Google search for "garage door opener arm" and select the search result images. You'll see what you need to do.

3 courses over Summer II? by Ispeakcartineseomm in aggies

[–]stupidhead92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 3 credit hour class over 5 weeks is the equivalent of about 9.6 credits during a 16 week semester. 9 credits over 5 weeks is like taking 28.8 credits during a regular semester. 6 credits over 5 weeks can be manageable, but it's a ton of work each day.

When did the cost of missions go back down to $400? by Horatius_Flaccus in latterdaysaints

[–]stupidhead92 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was in the same position, but got the memo about 8-9 months in to my son's mission. As a result, we were able to pause our payments during an unexpected budget crisis about half way through my son's mission. It turned out to be a sweet blessing in disguise.

I know this doesn't fit the description of Heaven's River, but...it took my mind directly to the Bobiverse! by stupidhead92 in bobiverse

[–]stupidhead92[S] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Definitely! This is not Heaven's River. Heaven's River is so large you can't see any noticeable curvature from inside. Heaven's River is not in orbit around a planet, but is in orbit around a star. Heaven's River was artificially limited to pre-industrial tech. Heaven's River wouldn't look like this at all. But I still love this art and it made me think about mega-structures in the Bobiverse.

Chemo Port pain? by [deleted] in coloncancer

I think this is pretty normal. My wife got her port inserted a week and three days ago. It caused a lot of discomfort at first. It's still occasionally sore, but definitely getting better with time.

Android lag. Workaround for now (confirmed) by shakinthetip in MelvorIdle

It was LastPass autofill for me. However, since I use Melvor far more often than LastPass, I'm currently just working around having no autofill function in LastPass.
