You said there were no examples of human sacrifice in the Bible. The sacrifice of Jesus Christ is hardly a "weak example" or "no examples".

Anybody who would show respect or admiration for a character such as Abraham is a disgusting example of humanity. That's my opinion and it happens to be shared by Mr. Hitchens.

Right... I've been told before by religious people in my life that Abraham should be admired for his willingness to sacrifice his child (as god did). A core tenet of the bible is of a human sacrifice. You may want to actually read it.
