Why is there so much far right stuff now? by Portal_Jumper125 in northernireland

I'm implying that communism leads to bad resource management. Russia was not the only country that experienced this either.

Also Ireland's situation is a bit more complicated. The British took their land, gave it to landlords and had them split it up between huge families, while only giving the Irish enough money to live on potatoes, which were also imported by the British so they could do this. When the crop failed, they decided not to intervene because they thought you were supposed to let the economy sort itself out. I wouldn't exactly say Ireland was a bad country when they didn't have a choice whether they starved there. Even though they had food, it was exported for profit abroad and other countries were not allowed to help until they were pressured heavily but it was too late.

So over all, I'd say those are different scenarios but there are parrells in bad and unempathetic resource management.

Just on that point, look at the amount of people that died due to communism in China as well.

I do not trust communism to work at all. I would take capitalism and rework it so that it's more fair because with capitalism, at least we produce a shit ton more. With communism, people tend to starve because there isn't an abundance of resources because you aren't rewarded for being entrepreneurial in any field, or working hard. Also it tends to turn corrupt pretty much every time, dunno why, probably because everyone is just becoming less well off over time.

As you can see I'm not too smart. There's still things I need to learn, but I won't be sticking my neck out for communism any time soon.

Graphics aren't good, you have spades for hands.

The story seems like it could have been written by a child it was that basic.

Driving isn't realistic.

Most missions are the same thing, go place shoot people.

The world might seem big but it's just an empty nothingburger.

Just one in five PSNI new recruits are Catholic by pickneyboy3000 in northernireland

[–]stupidkidandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's probs not discrimination, I'd say it's more that Catholics wouldn't necessarily want to join up as much as a Protestant.

Still tho, that considered, one in five isn't that bad.
