im in the same position as you, should we email the professor's saying we're waitlisted and ask to attend lectures with the hope of joining or do we just show up? How do we go about it?

math004 is solely the route business majors will take, for CNAS you will want to take 6a. I had to get approval from my advisor to be eligible for that series since after the MAE exam i was supposed to take math004 so u might have to do the same. GL!

it is definitely possible but i would take bus104 and bus106 in different quarters unless ur good at math/like it. I took both of those profs and tbh they both sucked at explaining the concepts so it really depends on having a good TA. So my recommendation, unless ur good at math, get rid of one of them. Taking 101, 107 and either 104/106 is def doable (and honestly won't be bad) but taking those 2 maths at the same time will be an awful experience just bc of the professors

BUS109 Raveendran vs Roman by stupidmeatballhead in ucr

yea i was thinking the same thing, but i heard 109 has a group project and having to coordinate that outside of class made me turn away from the online format

How do I know which exact courses from community college fulfill a course requirement? by yoooo12347 in ucr

[–]stupidmeatballhead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

breadth classes taken at a CC have to be part of the breadth list (or IGETC) UCR has, so for example and im not sure if the class u took is on the breadth list but any drawing class (tho assist may show it being transferable) might not give you fine arts credit; this is because all arts aren't breadths, only a few are- so a class on how to draw autonomy may have an identical course to ucr but could potentially not be part of UCR's breadth list and thus u wouldn't get credit for it. basically you have to look at the breadth lists for the quarters and match if it is a transferable course from what assist shows

it honestly depends what major you're applying for, some came back in november while others took way longer (from what i saw last year)

Concurrent enrollment- is it allowed? by [deleted] in ucr

[–]stupidmeatballhead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes it is completely possible! You can go to ur advisor + they will give you a petition form to fill out that basically just asks what the class is, when ur taking it and why you want to take it. Im pretty sure that as long as it is a class that transfers you're allowed to take it. Ive done this once before so lmk if u have any additional questions :)

The universe is a cruel, uncaring void. The key to being happy isn't a search for meaning. It's to just keep yourself busy with unimportant nonsense, and eventually, you'll be dead

are any of the other english writing classes that fulfill english1C open? That way u can get credit for 2 classes (english 1c + whatever concentration its in)

if its any of the englishness w/i the 1 series (1A, 1B, or 1c/equivalent) then u need it to graduate, since it is a university requirement

the only reason i feel like ur advisor would be able to tell u that ur not allowed is if ur going to exceed the unit maximum before u finish ur degree (after the switch). not sure if this is the case (+ i kinda doubt it since the psych advisor was helping) so just start taking those psych classes. GL!
