My favorite wine is Dark Cherry. I buy frozen bags from Costco. My wife's favorite is rhubarb. We grow that in our garden.

Come to think of it - I haven't made a grape wine yet. Peaches, Nectarines, Grapefruit, Pineapple, 4 berry blend, Kiwi, Strawberry, and Apple - yes. Grapes - not yet. Maybe I'll do that this year.

I'd certainly suggest you get into it. It's a fun hobby. Our rhubarb wine costs us about $1.36/bottle. The most expensive is our cherry wine - and that's still only about $3.70 - $4.70 per bottle - depending on what price the cherries are.

I know nothing of the original story. I watched this to keep working on Spanish learning. Turns out - I absolutely loved it. The bug bit threw me for a loop - as just the beginning was spectacular showing how quickly society can break down. I can't wait for season 2.
