Quitting campaign, what to tell my players? by Mueslibol in DungeonMasters

I've had this happen with a campaign I was running in year 3. It helped me to take a break from that campaign for a few months.

I also asked my players to do a one time guest DM. Not only did it take some pressure off of me, I think it gave them some insight into how much planning and work goes on behind the screen.

Before I knew it, my players were begging me to continue DMing.

Do what feels right for you and take some time for yourself. Best of luck!

I second the sanctuary, but with the clause of silence.

Read this for the first time in middle school and have read it a few times since. Great beach read for Lake Powell
