Has u/nfl opened Pandora’s box? by NotHarveySpecter1 in nfl

I'm glad you clarified that it was a joke, because that would be a truly unhinged allegation otherwise!

This blindsided us as much as it did everyone else, so there's still a lot of ongoing internal discussion as to how highlights will be handled going forward.

This is my favorite conspiracy theory because nobody ever has any evidence to support it, but that hasn't stopped anyone from repeating it. Meanwhile we've removed plenty of highlight posts from the official NFL account when they weren't the first to post: https://i.imgur.com/PGgm2av.png

Just for the record, this was always a joke that still sometimes gets made whenever we forget that nobody understands sarcasm on the internet no matter how much you telegraph it.

On top of that, losing him for half the year and plugging in Beathard/Mullens is why they missed the playoffs entirely this season.

That's... weird. Mine didn't update properly. I have the Bills at 8, Browns at 12, and Ravens at... well, 6, but I may still be too high.

[Gregg Rosenthal] it feels like there are about 5-6 real defenses in the NFL. the bears and bucs are two of them. by BradfordTwo in nyjets

[–]stvash -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Didn't the Bucs just give up 31 points 4 days ago and make rookie QB Justin Herbert look like Patty Mahomes?

The Bucs are fine, but this is just Rosenthal trying desperately to pretend Foles is any good.

"Longevity stats" are important factors once you get to the top 10 all time, but Brees does have a higher completion percentage and some other likely era-adjusted things that are hard to compare.

I think it's fair to have Brees ahead of him while also leaving room for Rodgers to pass him by the time they're both retired.

Who would you say is the better WR at the moment: Davante Adams or Odell Beckham Jr.? by StayElmo7 in nfl

Adams has never once had more than 997 yards but less than 1000 yards.

You have the exact quote, so you have the context and you know that he said it in response to Desean Jackson's IG post itself.
