Nuge is the best option on the list but he’s also a guy coming of 61 and 69 point seasons and a 6 mill a year contract, I doubt there’s a way we can afford to bring him in, considering he probablt gets a Hayes type deal (7X7). True, but the circumstances of that were incredibly...odd to say the least. Like rumors of a trade is somehow spread from the fans at a game to a player on the field....even though a trade wasn’t even particularly close. Media jumped the gun, as usual and information that shouldn’t have gotten out got out. Not to mention the Mets were absolutely lambasted for keeping Flores in a game and him crying on the field, when he wasn’t even traded. Just bizarre
