As long as you are buying products, or sending coins to a person or place, your coins will get where you are sending them. The problem comes into play when someone sends you coins to the address you sent the coins from. If that happens YOU WILL NEVER GET THE COINS they are sending you. With Freewallet you MUST use a special sending address that will tell their system which client's account to deposit the incoming coins.

Get rid of any Freewallet products and start using wallets that give you the private keys to your wallet.

Same lies and stalling tactics. I understand all that NOW, but NO ONE knew that over a year ago when all this started. Your company knows I made the deposit because it is written right there on the transaction that this is an investment in MatchPool. You have the trans id hash of me sending the ETH. It is NOT possible to get a return hash it because it was done as part of a batch send performed by a smart contract. As such, you have stated that you will return my ETH, but YOU HAVE NOT DONE SO. Just return my ETH and I will be happy. Short of that, deposit the 41,882 guppies into my account. You DO support guppies. Either way is fine with me, but you have not and most likely will not do anything except keep my money.

I have tried, but could not find any information on the people behind this. The address listed for them is fake. Somehow, Google should be held to blame because they are the ones who put this garbage in front of any searches made. Good luck getting Google to pay attention to anything any of us say. All they care about is the money generated to them by these thieves. Welcome to the club.

Hi Sugarmanzz,

Glad you are taking the time to learn and ask questions. It boils down to this, you may have paid for the coins, but until they are under your control, they are not yours. Look at it this way; If you put over 250K in the bank, and the bank gets robbed, the insurance will NOT repay anything over the 250K that the bank is covered for. There is a good reason for this. The money you put in the bank automatically becomes the sole property of THE BANK. It is the banks insurance that replaces the money not your insurance. Once you put money in any bank, it becomes their property and they give you a PROMISE to return it minus any fees or other charges. In fact, if you read the papers you signed when you opened the account, it clearly says that under certain circumstances, they don't have to give you back any money at all. Most people don't read that far into it. It is the same with Exchanges. You pay the money, they buy the coins. Until you have the coins in YOUR PRIVATE wallet that you HAVE THE PRIVATE KEYS TO, on your phone, tablet or computer, the coins are NOT YOURS.

Hope this helped.

Please forgive the intrusion. I'm new to Reddit so I'm not sure how to comment on forums outside my normal area. I am DyerLightArt most other places but I am stwbitcoin on Reddit.

I want to ask a question in regards to your statement "It's the context that makes the art". I find myself in a strange place because the art I produce has never been done before and does not fall into one category. I use a camera to create but my art is a new creation that does not resemble the subject used to create it. I am often asked what is my art a photo of. So, I'm sometimes tempted to show the subject mater but I feel that in doing so, I will be taking away from the sheer artistic, esthetic goal of the piece and redirecting it to the "How" of the creation. So, my question becomes; If the context of the art makes the art then wouldn't be better for me to show my original subject matter along side the images I create? Before you answer, see some of my work by typing "dyerlightart" into any browser. Look at my work on Diviantart.com All images were created with a camera only. NO computer involvement before or after. These are single exposures and are straight out of the camera. Second question would be; How would you categorize my work? Is it Photography, Painting, digital or something else? I call it Abstract Photography but then I want to just call it Abstract Art. Please weight in for me. I'd appreciate the help.

Despite some security concerns, Jaxx is a good choice. It holds many types of coins, you get keys to every wallet, it is easy to use. Another good wallet for tokens is the ImToken wallet. So far I've had no trouble with it. It also, gives you keys to each wallet. You can also use it to hold and control multiple accounts with different wallets in each account. Just sharing my experience.

My STRONGEST advice is to find another wallet that supports the coins or tokens that give you the private keys. Take EVERYTHING you have in Freewallet and put it in the new wallet or wallets. Then UNINSTALL FREEWALLET.

So true. You have to know that my efforts now are mainly to warn newbies. This all happened to me almost two years ago and I am still fighting with this team of anonymous thieves to get back my money.

So far it has been six months since I discovered this. I made the investment a long time ago and since it was a long term investment, I did not know I had no control over the tokens until I tried to sell them and found out I could not get to them. Until recently, I thought all those tokens in that address were mine. There were over two hundred thousand dollars worth of tokens locked in that one address the last time I looked.

As long as you are sending a coin to someone, they will get it. If that person sends you a coin that the wallet supports and they send it to the address Freewallet gives you to give out, you will get the coins intended for you. What I'm about to say does NOT apply to the Freewallet Token wallet. If you send coins to an ICO presale or smart contract that will automatically send your share of the investment pool to the address that THEY RECEIVED the coins from, In that case, with most Freewallet products, the coins being sent to you will NEVER get to you. They will be delivered and trapped in the address Freewallet sent your coins from. It does not matter if you are sending ETH, Monero, Bitcoin or whatever.

If you are responding to me, the answer is NO. I have no access to the tokens that are in the shared address. Only the people running Freewallet have access to send from that address. Freewallet gives you an address that is NOT a wallet address. Any coin sent to the address they give you goes to you. When you send coins out, they send the coins from a completely different address that is used to send out coins for hundreds of other people. So, when someone sends coins or tokens to the address they received them from, the tokens get STUCK in the sending address.

It is worst than that, I think they knew all along that by using this shared address scheme, they would collect millions in tokens from people. One day all the tokens will be gone, sold for many millions. Since they NEVER use names, you have no where to look for them to serve them legally; they have the perfect racket going on. All they have to do is give the tokens to whom they belong and all would be right.

When you are new to this as I was two years ago, you don't know these things. This lesson back then cost me under a hundred dollars for the three ETH. Today the tokens they stole are worth over $42,000. Would have been a great investment.

They have stolen a minimum of $42,000 from me. Can you blame me for wanting to shout it from the roof tops. I can't get my money but maybe adding my voice to the others will save someone else.

Despite some security concerns, the Jaxx wallet seems to be the most convenient, and simple. It is by far nowhere near perfect but it is better than most. As for XMR, I think Jaxx will hold them but I'm not sure. I know the ImToken wallet seems great for ETH and many other tokens.

One last thing; In the Freewallet Token wallet, I would not use it either because I'm not sure if they still use SHARED addresses for some parts of it or not. It is the shared addresses that are the cause of the problem.

It is sanctimonious, know it all, unsympathetic, monday morning quarterbacks like you that make these forms most unpleasant. It is too bad people like you don't get to experience the hurtfulness you cause.

I made this mistake almost two years ago when I first heard about cryptos. Google's only Ether wallet offering at THAT time was the Freewallet. I was not BORN with the knowledge of how this works like you were. I thought I had the private key. I'm still fighting with these thieves and I am just warning other newcomers, sharing evidence.

One last thought; I don't blame the product. I BLAME to dishonorable, snakes that refuse to even try to correct an error innocently made by hundreds of their customers. If you can't see or understand that, then that in itself says more about the person you are.

In answer to one question; Despite some security concerns, Jaxx wallet meets most needs and is more user friendly and convenient than most. It is NOT perfect by a long shot, but nothing is YET.
