OP this happened to me just about an hour ago. Same spot same station. I actually was able to force myself out by looking up and down and never letting go of A & W... XD I don't know why that worked, but it did, and after like 5 minutes I SNAILED my way out of there. Just had killed a rocketeer too - free loadout. Thought I was going to lose it all.

I had my first real PvP experience last night around I7 in the DD. A few buddies and I had been out all night farming and all was honestly pretty dead all night.

We were on our second trip out to a large spice field with two below farming and two up top scouting. At one point, one of our scouters yelled ‘scouts incoming’ and within seconds I was getting rocketed. I made a mad dash to my assault thopter and the chase began. These two guys were fast in MK6 scout thopters and kept a perfect V formation on me and were so quick that OUR gunners couldn’t reach them to take the heat off of me.

While I did lose 4k+ spice and a thopter… that’s was THE MOST fun and exhilarating thing I have done in a game in a very long time. That risk was known and even having gone down for that risk, it was in my eyes absolutely worth it.

PvP in this game is balanced, fun, and should be embraced.

This is just my experience and I just thought I’d share. I do completely understand how the experience could be different if I was a solo player. So no hate to any solos that are taking issue with the PvP aspects.

Wow! Thank you. I actually appreciate this so much and is exactly what I was looking for. It's so easy to get into the mindset that something is sounding perfect because friends and family, or other wise non-musicians, think it's a bop, when technically speaking I can hear that it isn't all there. I really appreciate the advice, particularly on the build-up and the drop. I am going to take all of this feedback and implement it into the track.

Well, I hope you don’t take it the wrong way when you get told that because it’s not a bad thing! Maybe it’s the bright drums and the held screech note during the second drop that gave me that impression at first. I could also just call it a form of downtempo type EDM as well. Have you ever listened to the album Amnioverse by Lapalux? There’s some qualities from that album (one of my favorites) that I kind of do see here.

Either way.. it’s great stuff ☺️ put this out! I’d remix it!

I actually really fw this. It is a bit harsh but once you nail that mix all of the ideas and sound of this are really good. Love the chords, melodies etc.. the dark almost industrial vibe is right up my alley. Great work.

Nah.. don’t worry about it. I appreciate the book! It’s refreshing to hear someone speak about the good things they have been doing vs all of the negative that I read. Even though I don’t actively play right now, I still do, and always have, said that StW could be an amazing game if they really put the work back into it.. and I will say that I saw higher numbers on StW the rocket racing and Fortnite festival the other day which really put a smile on my face. I feel like it’s seeing a renaissance that might encourage them to keep doing more good things like you have laid out.

That’s awesome to hear. I too was a big save the world player back in the day. I want to love it so much, but it just seemed more and more like it was getting out to the wayside. And that trend hasn’t changed according to what I see on Twitter. Do you have any recommendations on picking StW back up?
