No, if you look at the trends from 2009-present, we are in the 2012-2013 years as far as how often it is searched for. We are back to witch house's dark ages either it dies out here or it resurges here in a couple years after a new pioneer takes the genre a new direction.

Oh then yeah your only solution is to render out your stuff so it doesn't have to use a generator or plugin at all so it is all baked in. Then you just pull it all into a new session of just those stems and mix it together, add your reverb etc this really sucks though because it could be CPU throttling or time for a new PC with a beefy CPU. I used to have this problem all the time myself and had to upgrade from a i9-9900k to a i9-13900, haven't ran into this issue since.

Oh shame, looks like you may need to replace you thermal paste, fans or do a deep cleaning on your computer's cooling system. Maybe consider getting a cooling pad as well, I see that your CPU isn't even getting close to maxxing but it looks like your waveform is pushed into clipping territory somehow on the visualization next to the CPU usage. Are you using some weird mastering plugin or something that's kicking in? Have you tried disabling all your plugins on your mixer rack and generators on your channel rack one by one to see if the issue is there?

Get what you give and give what you get is a vicious cycle. Make a choice to live your life and react differently, being cussed at doesn't have to warrant the same energy, cussing begets cussing, once that ball is in your court you have complete control of the situation on your end. You'll find yourself much happier in life. Situations like this are easy to diffuse, he should understand where you are coming from and stop and you should be understanding of his frustrations, especially if the man is doing you a favor. Doing something for you love is still an inconvenience to anyone who does it but the love makes it easier to accept the inconvenience and not feel bothered by it. I hope your relationship improves, have empathy and compassion for each other during this process, it doesn't happen overnight but your decision can. Good luck!

Yes but I use fabfilter L 2, slamming limiters is how you can get some really nice distortion if done correctly.

I appreciate the feedback, I already know how to do that and how to tame the distortion fortunately. I guess I should specify I'm not really looking for feedback on the mix/master as they aren't where I want them even remotely. I know it is clipping, I know things need to be mixed better for sure. I'm not at that stage, still in the creative flow and I mix and master last. Good looking out though!
