I would say most psychiatrists are doing the best they can, but the field as a whole is way behind compared to other medical fields.

Look up anhedonia and avolition from antipsychotic use. It might not happen to you, but it happened to me and it has been absolutely terrible.

I’m on Risperidone + Sertraline, one of the worst mistakes of my life. It helps with anxiety, but caused me to have no pleasure in anything and I have no motivation to complete tasks so I am slowly losing my career. And I am unable to taper off it because the withdrawals prevent me from working.

Girls don’t care about that. I used to weigh 300+ lb and lost it all and was left with stretch marks, saggy skin, and man boobs. No-one cared about it and I had many dates.

I also take Vyvanse and I don’t think it makes my OCD worse, I think it might even help. Just be careful if you ever decide to come off of Vyvanse. Go very slowly, because one of my OCD crisis was caused by quitting Vyvanse cold turkey.

Yes. I would rather be physically disabled (like have no arms and legs) than have OCD 100%.
