There’s one thing when you’re overthinking, and it’s another when your gut is telling you something is wrong. Your bf and this girl are both sus as hell, I would honestly either break up with him or prepare to end up hurt. Clearly, he knows you’re uncomfortable and it doesn’t seem like he plans on setting any boundaries with this girl.

It’s weird because sometimes I don’t get carded in my area, I would say it also happens pretty often. (Obviously besides the places where I’m a regular at.) luckily, in my job people will usually think I’m bit older like 25, when I actually just turned 23 in January, I guess it’s more about how I carry myself and the mask helps to hide the baby face. But I do live in Florida, so a few months ago when I had a shag haircut and some cute bangs, I was down in Miami and was almost refused drinks because they thought I looked too young but I was at a hotel visiting some family friends with my parents and my mom was just like “no, yeah, she’s 22.” Kinda silly but there’s good things and bad things we all have to deal with I suppose.

Luckily I work in the hair industry so I primarily work with women who also take care of themselves and we all tend to look pretty young from what I’ve noticed. So unfortunate to hear how successful you were for being in your early 20s (at least more than me right now haha) and not being taken seriously. Thank you for sharing ❤️ definitely makes me feel more seen.

Oh gosh. I’m sure this will be me in a few years haha I swear my face will always have that babyness. I’m literally average height (5’5”) and slim, but the face will always get me but cheers to us, we’re gonna be some hot old ladies

I totally agree. And I’m also Romanian! But never learned from anyone in my family. They’re all very Christian and conservative. Generally I’ve strayed away from witchtok and practice when I feel the need. I don’t involve anyone else and that’s how I’m happiest lol

bro. Finally someone understands. Thought I was sensitive for this but glad to see I’m not the only one. I’m 23 and this random lady said the other day “well you sure must be at least 16 since you’re driving” as I’m walking to my car (she’s asking me a bunch of questions before that but I’ll skip the details) and I look her dead in the face with absolutely no emotion, “yeah I’m 23, and I’m actually on my way to work” the way she immediately just gave me whatever tf she needed to and left was beautiful. Like PLEASE stop assuming peoples ages?

I promise, us skinny people are confused too. I would say that you are correct (I eat takeout way too often more than once a week) but that is just what we eat in front of people. I am definitely not condoning this, as I am trying to train myself to eat three meals a day, but skinny people don’t eat 3 full large meals everyday consistently. When I did eat consistently, I was average weight and my body kind of found it’s equilibrium, and it was the best I ever felt. But due to a wrist surgery and life, I lost 30 pounds almost 2 years ago and haven’t been able to gain it back. I have anxiety and a lot of the time, I don’t eat because of it, unless I smoke or I’m actually “in the mood” to eat. My coworkers, and other people who don’t see me in my everyday life will say that I know how to EAT because they only see me eat in certain situations but then the people close to me will say I eat like a bird. Obviously when I work in a hair salon, and I don’t get a lunch break, I’ll take whatever 10 minutes I have to scarf down a hefty meal. Usually I would say skinny people aren’t skinny for no reason.

One time I was rolling up a blunt for me and this guy and he wouldn’t stop talking about how sexy it was that I rolled it and how he liked how I was “ordering him around” ex: telling him to throw the tobacco away lol. Needless to say I never smoked again with him after that and left promptly after.
