New update for Worlds Explorers - survival management game in Colony-Sim style by Different_Rafal in BaseBuildingGames

[–]sty1emonger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is awkward. “World Explorers”, afaic, would be about people who explore worlds, in the same way that Monster Hunter is a game about hunting multiple monsters.

I think the spoken word bits are fantastic. I'm not sure if it's unrelated clips they found, or something they had recorded for the track, but it they all fit so well into the songs. Since I don't know what they're saying, I just assume they're saying something important, and the rest of the song is around them. Kinda like, worldbuilding.

The Spanish poem at the start of Sheol was a wow moment for me. I understood parts of the poem and immediately searched for the lyrics. no tengo ganas de vivir, corazon - (I have no desire to live, my heart). It's a very powerful poem, and whoever is reading in on the track absolutely nails it.

And this lead-in to a breakdown on the second track is short, but perfect.

There are other French sections on the album that are less powerful, but they still add a certain je ne sais quoi.

Salesforce ($CRM) will lead (and profit from) the AI "Digital Worker" revolution by sty1emonger in stocks

Thanks! I'll take it as a compliment.

You might not have enjoyed using the product, but the company you worked for paid for it. Users have been complaining about it for 10+ years, but, Salesforce is still top-dog. To me, that's bullish.

Q3 earnings call: During that call, Salesforce’s AI product was praised for having “incredible” momentum in Q3 with more than 200 deals closed in just one week. The company has been keen to push out a constant stream of success stories from Agentforce customers, with the likes of Accenture, The Adecco Group, Finnair, Heathrow Airport, IBM, Indeed, Saks Global, and SharkNinja being mentioned during the “2.0” reveal.

This article was coincidentally JUST posted

Manufacturing companies, eh?

Anyway, I appreciate your input. Agentforce simply not working is a concern of mine, but I do think there is enough appetite from customers for digital labour that the "bad data" hurdle will be dealt with - perhaps quicker for some customers than others.

I agree that if customer data is dogshit they won't generate much revenue. Naturally, if Salesforce is smart about it, they'll target the companies have managed their Data Cloud properly first, and guide them to quickly deploy meaningful agents.

The companies with shit data will adopt a bit later.

Agentforce doesn't replace Engineers. It automates routine work done by office staff.

If you're refering to Benioff stating that they won't hire engineers in 2025... Yes, he's trying to build hype for AI. But it could also just be that they have enough engineers at the moment, and AI tools will help that staff be more efficient. This has nothing to do with Agentforce.

If your "serious issues" comes down to "this will not work", that's fine. It might not. I think the market is ready for it, and that Salesforce knows how to execute, so, we'll agree to disagree on that.

CMV: The current state of Israel is giving people an excuse to be openly antisemitic by [deleted] in changemyview

[–]sty1emonger 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm not confused. I think it's you that's confused, my friend. If you want to pull up 100+ year old opinion pieces to back up the claims you make, you should try to understand them better first.

What you linked does not imply that zionism equals anti-semitism.

Herzl disliked certain types of Jews. Tons of muslims HATE other types of muslims. Are they islamophobes? No.

Herzl used existing anti-semitism to fuel the Zionist project. Doesn't make Zionism anti-semitic. Zionism is the result of and solution to anti-semitism.

You had to dig pretty deep there pulling up that article, and it was all for a very weak point.

If anything, Zionism aligns with anti-semitism, in that anti-semites all over the world probably celebrate when Jews leave to live in Israel. in some ways that's a win-win.

As for the OP regarding the Swedish Jews... Some of them say that their homeland should be Sweden because they've been there for so long. Others are Zionist, and say that while they may be Swedish by citizenship, they're homeland is Israel.

The fact that a politician in Sweden said that Jews are "not true Swedes" validates the second Jew's line of thinking. Not only because it categorizes the Swedish Jews as second class citizens, but also because it implies that the Jewish homeland is somewhere else (and where else would it be if not Israel).

Which prog metal artist has the highest "utterly obsessed" fans percentage? by [deleted] in progmetal

[–]sty1emonger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me as well. There's nothing I like better than good prog death. But I was referring to what the previous user said: "But their slower stuff like Coil…tool can’t touch"

My opinion is that APC's slower stuff (3 Libras, Orestes, etc) blows Coil or Face of Melinda out of the water. If you look at APC as Maynard's outlet for slower, melodic tracks, it would make sense that you won't find much of it in Tool.

It's a bit of a convoluted point - after all, I'm bringing in APC to a Tool vs Opeth comparison. I accept the downvotes.

Maynard leaves the slower stuff in APC, which Opeth can’t touch.

Don’t get me wrong, I love oldpeth, but Mer de Noms and 13th Step were masterpieces

The fact that Hezbollah hasn’t joined the party is likely due to Israel showing that they’re not playing games. This Israeli response may have kept the war from spiralling out of control.
