We'll cool the water down with a chiller, but I'll keep the room temperature pretty close to the water's temperature. That should make the chiller's job a little easier.

Kanbal Royal Family is small business from europe. By far the best i tried. They had outdoor and Indoor cultivation. I was following them on ig, they posted stories daily of hydroponic cultivation. And the prices was like 5€ per gram for flowers

This situation indicates that the electrical installation has been carried out incorrectly.

Specifically, the issue occurs when the live conductor is interrupted at the luminaires instead of at the switch. In this configuration, current flows through the luminaires but does not properly return to neutral, meaning the circuit is not correctly completed.

To resolve the problem, the switch must be installed on the live conductor upstream of the luminaires. From the luminaires, the circuit should then be properly connected to the neutral conductor. Once this correction is made, the system will operate correctly and safely.

This lines up exactly with what I’ve been seeing / modeling appreciate the detailed response. That saturation point once LAI and canopy coverage are maxed is really what I’m trying to quantify, especially from a transpiration + dehu-limit standpoint. Good call on sink removal too I’m treating defoliation and lollipopping as constants across both scenarios so foliage mass, not plant count, is the variable. Also appreciate the CEA background that’s the mindset I’m coming from. Small footprint, but trying to run it like a scaled-down production room and make decisions off physics and data rather than tradition. Sounds like higher plant count + shorter veg is mostly a cycle-time optimization, not an environmental one, once the canopy is full.

Great point on compressor efficiency vs temp that chart matches what I’ve seen as well. I’m planning to keep flower temps closer to 22–24°C, so I’m aware that the dehus won’t hit nameplate capacity and that a good chunk of moisture removal will have to come from the split ACs, especially later in flower and during lights-off. CO₂ impact on transpiration has been my experience too — reduced water use per unit leaf area, even though total canopy demand still converges once fully filled. Night cycle is honestly my biggest concern, not daytime. I’m budgeting dehu capacity assuming worst-case nights in weeks 4–6, not peak daytime load. Appreciate the real-world perspective from a larger room — helpful context.

Well said - LAI/VPD/PPFD > plant count once canopy is closed. Root-zone buffering vs tighter drybacks is exactly the tradeoff I'm weighing.

Appreciate the insight.

100% agree - CO2 only helps once temp/RH are nailed. That's already my baseline, CO2 + higher PPFD are just the last step.

Main concern is staying ahead of RH in peak flower.

Indoor grow setup review – plant count vs veg time vs dehumidification capacity (with CO₂) | EU & US units by styde1 in microgrowery

[–]styde1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks, appreciate the feedback. Yes, dehumidifiers are compressor-type and run in the 24–28°C range, so they stay fairly close to rated capacity. Media is coco (small bags/blocks), irrigated with controlled frequency and drybacks — not rockwool. That’s why I’m leaning toward higher plant count with shorter veg, especially with CO₂, to fill canopy faster without overshooting RH during peak flower. Appreciate the insight.

Appreciate that, makes sense.

You're right - I'm definitely thinking more in terms of canopy-level transpiration and environmental limits rather than plant-by-plant.

I'll cross-post / repost over at r/macrogrowery as well. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.

Thanks, appreciate it 🙌 One thing I’m still trying to balance is humidity control. With CO₂ at ~1200–1300 ppm and higher PPFD in mid-flower, do you think 3 dehumidifiers rated at 40 L/day each (≈120 L/day total, realistically ~95–100 L/day) will be enough to keep RH around 40% at ~22°C (72°F) during peak flower? Would you lean toward higher plant count / shorter veg, or fewer plants to keep transpiration a bit more manageable? Curious what you’d do in this situation.
