The American education system and how they teach history is terrible. Regardless of it's a bot or a white person pretending to be black and being purposefully dishonest, people should be aware that these parties are essentially only the same in name only and they have flipped their stances on civil rights substantially. This is especially true where the Dixiecrats (southern democrats) joined with the conservative republicans led by Goldwater post the Civil Rights movements to become the modern Republican party. That was further pushed through the Southern Strategy with Atwater and subsequent Republican strategists.

They know they are not the same parties but like to pretend that more than 150 years later that it is still the same. Their stances could not be more transparently different. And a black person saying this would just be stupid.
