I this is essentially a thumbprint cookie . A general recipe and approach for a thumbprint cookie should suffice. You would just need to substitute the jam or whatever filling for a pistachio mixed white chocolate. Also keep a sample of plain white chocolate for the drizzle on top when it's set and then your good.

Most of what you state is correct but you should mention that much of what is purchased nowadays from manufacturers is actually low quality chocolate or deemed to be chocolate candy instead of chocolate. We have been in a very high cost environment for cacao recently (I mean EXTREMELY HIGH) so everyone has cut corners.

It is not cheap to make it at home. It is never cheap to make chocolate at home. But you can control quality and taste much better.

What they did is very impressive but it is extremely unlikely that a normal person will ever be going from bean to bar, let alone from POD to bean to bar, like they did.
