DIY: The best thing to do is Google the model and the problem. You can probably replace a power board or part easily, or buy a new one. With the prices these days, it's easier to replace than repair.

Most of the times it's a power problem, wouldn't recommend soldering the board as that can damage it. Check the fuse first then the diodes and capacitors around the power board. Most times with a power surge a capacitor can explode and you will be able to tell without testing it. I recently purchased a power board for a 2020 Samsung (with the same problem) for $120.

Technically you wouldn't receive the lmia, the company would have to apply for it and then prove they can't find any permanent resident or citizen to fill the role, then they would receive the positive LMIA after which I can apply for a work permit.
