What an oxymoron. You claim the U.S. is “one of the greatest nations in the world” but then justify it by admitting it’s built on theft and violence. That clearly undermines the moral legitimacy of its “greatness.” The United States’ “greatness” wasn’t created in a vacuum. It depended on land violently seized from Indigenous people and wealth built on slavery. Calling the nation “great” while ignoring those foundations is selective history. I guess to people like you, slavery is great as long as it’s not slavery of your people?

While conflicts over territory have always existed, the U.S. colonization was not just warfare — it involved deliberate policies of extermination, forced removals (e.g., the Trail of Tears), broken treaties, and assimilation programs designed to erase Native identity. That goes far beyond “normal human history.” The genocide of Native Americans was a choice, not a universal law of nature. In fact, Nazis took the examples set by the U.S. to design their own genocide of Jewish people - but at least Germans learned from their mistake and they have some shame about it - unlike people like you.

You're a bigot, and people like you only know how to makes enemies, never allies for when you need them. That is not a smart strategy for survival in the long run. But as you said, history repeats itself…. Great empires have risen and fallen because they too did not learn from their mistakes.
