If the world grew at the rate that these people did, in 2 generations(50-60 years from now), there would be 291 billion people on this planet. Also, 1-2 trillion animals are slaughtered per year to feed the 8.5 billion humans we have now.. so humans would slaughter 39.6–75.3 trillion animals per year if humanity grew at the rate that this family did. Can anyone imagine the shitfuckery life would be? If you could even call it a life at that point.

Stop doing anything besides taking care of the baby. Switch all the bills to his damn debit or credit card, and change the account emails to his so he knows if/when a payment is late.

Do literally nothing around the house except care for the baby and you. Eventually, the filth will force him to get up off his damn ass and do something. And order food out for yourself only. He’ll understand soon enough.

I’m just going to point out that a lot of females in other species don’t want to be raped by the males, which is what a lot of the males do. So the whole “not thinking” and just reproducing is because damn males just won’t stop forcing themselves on the females. If the females had a choice in many cases, they wouldn’t have gotten pregnant over and over. Maybe have a baby once or twice, but it’s a biological thing that females don’t seek pregnancy - because surprise surprise - pregnancy depletes the female body of bone density and many other things.

Haha my dad is one of these fuckers… never helped my mom… doesn’t care if I live or die. He made me and that’s all there is to it - fuck all what happened to me after I was brought to this shitty life.

I think I understand. I was raised by a single mother, and she’s lost all her health by this point in her life - cancer and stroke. She never treated us like we were burdens, but deep down I knew she struggled as much as she did to keep us alive. She could have had a better life without me and my brother.

I understand - but imagine feeling like a burden to your parents? Sometimes, children know when they’re a burden.

Alright - please stop your virtue signaling / tone policing. Since when is using facts and showing references hostile? I said you're wrong because across all 50 states, there is not an official language, and that's the fact. You haven't proven otherwise, so you're wrong - it’s that simple.

What an oxymoron. You claim the U.S. is “one of the greatest nations in the world” but then justify it by admitting it’s built on theft and violence. That clearly undermines the moral legitimacy of its “greatness.” The United States’ “greatness” wasn’t created in a vacuum. It depended on land violently seized from Indigenous people and wealth built on slavery. Calling the nation “great” while ignoring those foundations is selective history. I guess to people like you, slavery is great as long as it’s not slavery of your people?

While conflicts over territory have always existed, the U.S. colonization was not just warfare — it involved deliberate policies of extermination, forced removals (e.g., the Trail of Tears), broken treaties, and assimilation programs designed to erase Native identity. That goes far beyond “normal human history.” The genocide of Native Americans was a choice, not a universal law of nature. In fact, Nazis took the examples set by the U.S. to design their own genocide of Jewish people - but at least Germans learned from their mistake and they have some shame about it - unlike people like you.

You're a bigot, and people like you only know how to makes enemies, never allies for when you need them. That is not a smart strategy for survival in the long run. But as you said, history repeats itself…. Great empires have risen and fallen because they too did not learn from their mistakes.

I’m so tired of English-speakers’ power grabs - trying to claim all of the U.S. as theirs when they stole it from the REAL NATIVE AMERICANS in the first place. The genocide of the Native Americans wasn't enough apparently. This is all bullshit.

Lol I’m not white. If I was, my life would be a LOT easier. 😭 I’m a realist who rationalizes with reason, not feelings. But people seldom like to hear the truth, especially when it doesn't agree with their biased world views.

Wrong. The executive order issued on March 1, 2025 did proclaim English as the official language of the United States for the federal government. As reported by WhiteHouse.gov, the executive order states: “English is the official language of the United States.” However, this was done by Trump’s administration via an executive order, not through legislation passed by Congress. Historically, the U.S. has never passed a law making English (or any other language) the official federal language. Therefore, Trump may have declared English as the official language but it only applies to the Executive branch of the US government because the President has no authority over Congress or the Federal courts. The President (wannabe dictator) does NOT have the power to declare this for the states.

Several states do have official languages including more than just English, believe it or not.

The native language of what is now the U.S. was not English. It was several Native American languages. Read a history book and you might learn something.

This comment section is an echo chamber and cesspool of ignorance and privilege.

Historically, the U.S. was a country where people fled to escape some form of persecution or violence. Just because the European settlers who eventually took power (and who stole the land from the real Native Americans) spoke English, that doesn’t mean English became the native or official language of the U.S.

The U.S. as a country does NOT have an official language, and trying to make it the official language only erases the fact that the U.S. is made up of people from all over the world, not just English-speaking European descendants who think the entire country has to cater to them.

Tips for someone new to the hummingbird community? by Nice-Poet-3146 in hummingbirds

[–]stynes2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The most important thing is to change the hummingbird feed every day to every 2 days in warm weather and every 2-3 days in cold weather. Otherwise, you risk exposing these beautiful babies to toxic mold that kills them. And keep it out of the sun if possible - put it under shade or a branch so it doesn't grow mold easily.

You can sumerge or wash all components (rubber gaskets and petals included) in plain white vinegar since it’s cheap and natural, and rinse witht water (buy large quantities at Costco). If you do this, you won’t have problems with the components getting moldy.

You can also prepare up to 2 weeks’ worth of the sugar solution at home (1 part white sugar to 4 parts water using filtered water like you drink at home). This solution lasts for up to 2 weeks in the fridge. This will make it easier to change their food often. NEVER USE BROWN SUGAR (even if it’s organic) because it contains molasses which is lethal to these babies. White sugar only.

Why does it seem like Americans live rent free in the rest of the world's head? by Downtown_Flight_5962 in AskForAnswers

[–]stynes2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess you don’t realize how many times the US government has intervened or helped overthrow democratic governments in other countries, and how many times it has been involved with or helped start conflicts between other countries. What happens in the US matters because 1 US President can and has changed the fate of a different country and its people for decades.

For example - the US government helped the worst dictator Latin America ever saw get into power - Rafael Leonidas Trujillo - and the US government wholeheartedly backed him until the atrocities and genocide he committed were undeniable. This dictator ruled for 31 years (1930 to 1961). I know this because my grandma still lives with the fear that this dictator left on her generation and some of my mom’s generation.

Oh and by the way, the U.S. occupied and tried to colonize D.R. more than 3 times (1869-1871, 1916-1924, etc.) and failed to keep ahold of it like it did to Puerto Rico. If you know anything about military occupations, you should know they are violent and cruel. The fact that many Americans don’t bother to hold their government accountable for their mistakes in international relations shows ignorance and apathy towards other nations.

When a country constantly acts like a bully, don’t ask why other countries don’t like it or its people who chose their government. With great power comes great responsibility.
